Change in the law regarding dog on dog attacks. Have a dangerous dog that killed.our chihuahua destroyed.

Our chihuahua Chicco was brutally attacked by a dog known to have attacked and killed cats/dogs in the past and sadly lost his life. The police can't do anything because its not a dog on human attack. SPCA have allowed the owners to keep the dog and edinburgh council dog wardens are not even interested.  We would like to petition to give the police more power so they can order the offending dog destroyed and petition to have the dog that killed our beloved Chicco destroyed.    The more signature

In Support of Academic Freedom of Expression and Critical Thought

We believe in upholding the democratic values of freedom of speech, thought, and expression. We view Academic freedom of expression in universities as paramount to the process of higher education and empirically-grounded research. The suppression of opposing views stifles critical thought and debate, which are incredibly important parts of a university education and should be promoted and encouraged in both students and staff. We strongly oppose the idea that Academic Freedom should only apply

40mph speed limit between Henfield and Woods Mill, A2037

Following the latest tragic death on the usual corner of the A2037 between Henfield and Woods Mill (Post code BN5 9SE), this petition calls for an immediate 40mph speed limit on this short stretch of road, to provide a contiguous speed limit of 40mph between these 2 locations. The recent death just adds to the local knowledge that this road is safe only if driven with due care. The writer lives directly opposite this corner, and with the neighbours are the first on the scene to try and help inju

Allow hospitality venues to open as workspaces for remote workers

The hospitality industry is on its knees. We need to make a stand and make it now - so Work Anywhere Hub is lobbying the government to allow venues to reopen on March 8th along with schools. Across the country buildings lay empty. These buildings could be used as safe spaces for workers. The hospitality industry should not be forced to suffer any more. If offices are allowed to open then why can’t we? Work Anywhere Hub proposes that all venues be allowed to open as remote, COVID-safe workspaces.

Pavements on popular walking routes in Eccleston, Lancs

Over the last 12 months we have seen the informal creation of popular routes for walking, cycling and running on our country lanes in Eccleston, Heskin and Mawdesley.  It has been wonderful to see so many people out, young and old, exercising and enjoying the countryside that surrounds our villages.  However, as the lockdown has eased and car use has increased, a number of these havens are becoming dangerous.  We want to encourage and maintain the high levels of people out exercising on our lane
