To stop the Royal British Legion closing the 4 Break Centres across the UK and Handy van Service.

After their recent Stategic Review the Royal British Legion have proposed to increase the number of case workers to help beneficiaries. In turn they plan to close the 4 UK Break Centres Alderson House, Bennet House, Byng House and Somerset Legion House along with the Handy Van Service. The Break Centres provide an invaluable opportunity for members of the armed forces community to avail of an all inclusive break for some well deserved respite. A break can give someone a safe sanctuary to meet

The Berwick Kaler pantomimes have been part of many family’s traditions for decades. We as a family have been going for more than 20 years and this is the same for many family's in and around York and for many who come from outside of York It has come to light in recent days  that the management of York Theatre Royal are looking to move their pantomime in a new direction away from the Berwick Kaler tomfoolery and the cast that has been bringing tears of laughter on that stage for years.  Nothi

Save Track Fitness Boxing Club

Track fitness boxing club is an integral part of the community, providing a service to Beverley and the wider community.  We have over 400 members, between the ages of 4 and 60. On the 5th September 2019 East riding council served us with an eviction notice, giving us 6 weeks to vacate the premises offering us no support in finding a new building.  Please support the future of the club and make the council find us a suitable property.

We demand that St Martin-in-the-Fields reverse outrageous decision to cast out loyal musicians

For 30 years our orchestras and choirs have brought joy to thousands of people and raised millions of pounds to support the work of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the homeless. Now in the midst of a global pandemic with no consultation we have been informed by email, by the Director of Music at St Martin-in-the-Fields, that our concerts will end and that evening concerts will be in-house only. We have effectively been summarily dismissed. We call on people of all faiths and none to support our call

An urgent review of the alterations to Rugby Town Centre by Warwickshire County Council. Bad for business!

We the undersigned wish to express our real anger at Warwickshire County Council's decision to significantly alter the road network in Rugby Town centre and the surrounding roads. We urge Warwickshire County Council Highways Department, along with elected officials to look again and to make alterations.  Warwickshire County Council has approved considerable traffic changes in Rugby with no public consultation. Huntingdonshire District Council Parking Fees

HDC have recently ‘upgraded’ their Pay & Display machines across the region and whilst undertaking this, have removed the 1 hour option from long stay carparks. The minimum option to pay for is 2 hours so hence they have doubled the minimum fee. This will have devastating consequences to town centres and cause irresponsible parking as people look to avoid designated car parks and these fees. We, the undersigned, ask that this decision is reversed and the 1 hour option is re-instated.

Hachette, Re-Publish the only children's book on African & Caribbean people in Britain

Dear Mr. Shelley, As chief executive of Hachette UK, you recently joined many UK business leaders by issuing a statement in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, who led massive demonstrations against police brutality in the US and the UK, and against institutional racism. In your statement, you said that “... there is a more urgent need than ever for us to stand together and educate ourselves, become better allies and offer financial support where we can.” You also related how reading a p

Show support for Warsash Cycles

Dear Community,  Regrettably, I have received one complaint into Fareham council regarding Warsash Cycles being run from my private workshop at home. The council are currently evaluating if I can continue with the business, but have not made a decision as yet.   I have been fortunate enough to have received enormous support from you all as a community and certainly, my intention is not to cause any members of the community and inconvenience whatsoever.
