Being falsely accused by partner/spouse

Rape and coercive/controlling behavior is one of the most disgraceful crimes against a partner/spouse.   But,   When a partner/spouse makes false allegations of these kind of crimes against a partner/spouse for revenge, anger or spite the impact can be devastating mentally, emotionally and effect their whole life.   When these kinds of allegations are proven to be false we demand that the police and authorities to do more to prosecute the offender.   Help us make sure that no innocent person sho

Dumfries and Galloway planners are wrong to recommend against an Aldi in Castle Douglas.

Dumfries and Galloway Council planners have recommended against an application by Aldi to establish a new store in Castle Douglas. A few years ago many of us remember the public outcry over Tesco wanting to build a store in Castle Douglas but since it was built it has proved to be a great asset for the town and has not effected other shops in the 'High Streets." If you agree that a new Aldi store would have no effect on our locally owned shops but will create some healthy competition between the

Support your local pub, The Crown Inn and its events

After months of working with New Forest District council (NFDC), we have had to temporarily suspend live music due to being served with a Noise Abatement Noitce.  We feel this notice has been served somewhat hastily as I (Martin) and my staff believe they were working closely with the council to reaach a fair compromise after aproximately 4 regular complainants made it necessary for Environmental Helath to monitor live music events. These events are once weekly and for two sets of forty five min

To Reinstate the Lady Lumleys' Coat of Arms onto the Badge of Lady Lumleys' School

The Coast and Vale Learning Trust took control of Lady Lumleys' School in Spring 2021 and decided to change the school's 75 year old badge from this: To this - the Disney version: Lady Lumleys' coat-of-arms is essential to the identity and the history of the school founded by Lady Lumley in 1657.  Generations of our community have proudly worn this badge. Changing it without consulting either staff or students, both past and present OR the Lady Lumley's family, is disrespectful to the memory o

For Suffolk County Council to develop an in-house bid for Suffolk Highways maintenance

The Suffolk Green, Lib Dem and Independent Group, the elected opposition at Suffolk County Council, are seeking 3,675 signatures to sign our petition. £5,000 for a pair of dropped kerbs? £7,500 to cut down a single tree? £10,000 to design four humps in a road (not even to build!)? These are just some of the astonishing quotes Kier charge for Suffolk highways maintenance. Since 2013, Suffolk County Council have been outsourcing highways maintenance to Kier, an infrastructure company that won a

Stop the solar farm next to Barnsdale Gardens

We have learnt that a company called Exton Energy is planning to build a solar farm on 81 hectares of land in the fields right next door to Barnsdale Gardens. As vital as renewable energy is, there are better local fields to place this where the constant noise of the motorised panels, as they follow the sun, will not be the overriding factor ruining the peace for our visitors and wildlife and may force the closure of Barnsdale Gardens. I would be very grateful for your support to block this dev

Developing Nations Stand Against Sodomy!

READ MORE: BBC and Daley Weaponise Games The British diver Tom Daley has started a campaign to overturn anti-sodomy laws in the Commonwealth. We the undersigned petition the National Trust to stop offering the 'Quick Vote' option to members voting online at the AGM and to disclose the 2022 Quick Vote voting numbers. Petition to request Wirral Council re-assess the Practicality of the Fender Lane Cycle Lane

Back in March 2022 work started on the implementation of cycle lanes on both the eastbound & westbound carriageways, Fender Lane. This was part of Wirral Councils Active Travel scheme, but Moreton West & Saughall Massie Councillors did not get consulted on any of the proposals. In addition to this, councillors voted against the scheme at committee stage, and the project was still carried forward. Stopping Christ Church Yardley Wood grassing over our loved ones graves.

After many years of being allowed edging & memorials around our loved ones graves, Christ Church Yardley Wood has now decided that the 2006 regulations must be followed and that these must be removed. We're starting this petition in the hopes that with enough backing we can prevent this from happening and continue to keep our families final resting place how they have always been.
