Save our green spaces - land between Bassett Close and Lower Earley Way in Wokingham Borough, Berkshire

We, the undersigned, are very concerned at the recent removal of vegetation from the important green open space known as Swallows Meadow, located between Bassett Close and Lower Earley Way in Wokingham Borough. We note that Earley Town Council is seeking to have this land, which is part of an important green corridor, designated and protected as a Local Green Space. We are concerned that the recent activity on this land may be in preparation for some form of housing or related development, wh

The NI Taxi industry deserves better support

The Stormont Executive via Nichola Mallon has offered the taxi £1500 per driver to help with the extra costs of Covid and the lose of income. This is less than £10 per day to pay bills & buy food as many driver's haven't worked due to shielding and have fallen through the different grants schemes.  We're calling on the NI Assembly to provide drivers with better support and we'd ask you to sign our petition to show you're behind us.

Petition for immediate works to be completed to resolve dangerous junction (Offenham Road / The Parks)

Maple Gardens in Evesham, is a housing development  built by Redrow Homes and has now been occupied for over 4 years.  At the planning stage, access to Offenham Road from the estate was identified as potentially dangerous. Planning consent was made conditionally with the highway authority of Worcestershire County Council insisting the matter be addressed by the developer. Correspondence from Mark Goodge (District Councillor for Badsey) confirmed this. There have already been accidents reported a

STORMONT! END the violation of our Human rights NOW! Face masks should NEVER BE MANDATORY!!!

The signatories on this petition are calling for an end to the dictatorship of the Stormont executive and public health officials who are infringing our inalienable human rights as set out in the Human rights act 1998. The Northern Ireland Act 1998 sets out the legislative competence of the Northern Ireland Assembly and states that the Assembly may not legislate in a manner that conflicts with the European convention on Human rights. The Act places a DUTY on public bodies not to act in contraven

Protect and prioritise the safety of Leighswood Road residents and those accessing it by banning or restricting Heavy Goods Vehicles.

Leighswood Road is an extremely busy road and its proximity to local industrial estates means it sees a high and ever increasing number of heavy goods vehicles using it. The road is a narrow road and large goods vehicles have no choice than to drive right next to the footpath. This is dangerous for any pedestrians using the footpaths which, in places, are very narrow themselves. Recently one resident’s jacket was torn when a large lorry brushed past him and I also have details of another reside

Cancel Summer Exams 2021! In the name of mental health.

We at the crisis cafe a mental health organisation and movement lead by young people for young people are calling on the Education minister Peter Weir to follow the actions of Wales and to cancel GCSE and A level exams for 2021. As we are in the middle of a global pandemic many students and teachers have missed days due to periods of self- isolation and  already we've  had a 2 week circuit breaker. We believe it would be unfair to ask students to sit these exams in the summer, we believe this wo
