Hachette, Re-Publish the only children's book on African & Caribbean people in Britain

Dear Mr. Shelley, As chief executive of Hachette UK, you recently joined many UK business leaders by issuing a statement in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, who led massive demonstrations against police brutality in the US and the UK, and against institutional racism. In your statement, you said that “... there is a more urgent need than ever for us to stand together and educate ourselves, become better allies and offer financial support where we can.” You also related how reading a p

Financial Support for Temporary Visa Holders in Australia - COVID 19

Due to the covid-19 pandemic a lot of temporary visa holders in Australia (visitor visas, student visas, 482 visa holders, working holiday visas), have been left unemployed and stranded in Australia. So far, The Australian Government has done nothing to support temporary visa holders in Australia. It has not provided a clear indication of what, if any financial support will be provided. The granting of the licence of the Coach & Horses Harrogate to Samantha Nelson

Following recent issues, the Coach & Horses has lost its licence. These were nothing to do with the landlady of 18 months, Samantha Nelson.  Please support her totally responsible and professional stewardship of the pub during this time and her vision for the future of Harrogate's most popular "boozer". As the town's "Rovers Return", the Coach has a hugely important integral role in the community. The Coach & Horses is embedded in Harrogate culture and adds so much value to the town as a

Provide Sion Hill Students With Transport to their Campus.

Bath Spa university has decided to cancel all transport to the campus that houses Textile Design and Fashion courses. This also means that all intersite shuttle buses are cancelled, so many people that based living arrangements on these buses have no transport.  The other campuses are supplied with buses that run every day of the week, at intervals as little as every ten minutes within working hours. We pay the same tuition fees as these students, yet do not get the same treatment.   Walking up

NHS frontline staff to be provided with FFP3 PPE masks during work - ESNEFT .

At Ipswich and Colchester Hospitals, the current advice regarding PPE mirrors PHE's misguided advice that surgical masks, gloves and an apron are adequate protection against Covid-19.  Staff members at ESNEFT have fallen ill, and even died following contracting Covid. Many believe they caught it from work.  Staff have concerns around the increased transmissibility of the new strains of the virus, the lack of ventilation on wards, the rapid increase in covid admissions, and the fact they feel inh

'A SAFER WOODBURY', Devon UK

A SAFER WOODBURY Being in between Exeter and Exmouth has it's advantages between the city and the sea but that also means we are also used as a main through route to villages and towns in the surounding area. We are an escape route when the A376 is blocked by an accident or just heavy traffic. Our mainroad is a magnet for the 'racers' who use it to impress their mates and also for the occasional drunk driver. During rush hours and the holiday seasons, our small village can get very busy with all
