Petition against implementation of a low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) in Westcombe Park and Maze Hill

In short, we do not want Greenwich council to block all the access roads that run North/South between Woolwich Road and the A2/Blackheath.   I like many of you have just received a letter through the post informing me of proposed changes to road layouts in the Westcombe Park/Vanburgh hill area. The letter does not include a map of the propsed changes which in itself is misleading, it then directs you to a website where you can find the map, some assumptions and disinformation and participate in

Change in the law regarding dog on dog attacks. Have a dangerous dog that killed.our chihuahua destroyed.

Our chihuahua Chicco was brutally attacked by a dog known to have attacked and killed cats/dogs in the past and sadly lost his life. The police can't do anything because its not a dog on human attack. SPCA have allowed the owners to keep the dog and edinburgh council dog wardens are not even interested.  We would like to petition to give the police more power so they can order the offending dog destroyed and petition to have the dog that killed our beloved Chicco destroyed.    The more signature

Improving Dartford Canal Path between Mill Pond Road and Home Gardens

Dartford Town Centre has experienced a large increase in population density over the last 5 years. Development of the old GSK Site at Mill Pond Road and the Northern Marshes has led to an increase in traffic and footfall into Dartford Town Centre, however this side of the rail way tracks is disconnected from the town centre due to inaccessibility. There are many people now living in Dartford with a desire for safe, clean and well-lit walking routes into the town centre and to the train station w

40mph speed limit between Henfield and Woods Mill, A2037

Following the latest tragic death on the usual corner of the A2037 between Henfield and Woods Mill (Post code BN5 9SE), this petition calls for an immediate 40mph speed limit on this short stretch of road, to provide a contiguous speed limit of 40mph between these 2 locations. The recent death just adds to the local knowledge that this road is safe only if driven with due care. The writer lives directly opposite this corner, and with the neighbours are the first on the scene to try and help inju

Allow hospitality venues to open as workspaces for remote workers

The hospitality industry is on its knees. We need to make a stand and make it now - so Work Anywhere Hub is lobbying the government to allow venues to reopen on March 8th along with schools. Across the country buildings lay empty. These buildings could be used as safe spaces for workers. The hospitality industry should not be forced to suffer any more. If offices are allowed to open then why can’t we? Work Anywhere Hub proposes that all venues be allowed to open as remote, COVID-safe workspaces.

Pavements on popular walking routes in Eccleston, Lancs

Over the last 12 months we have seen the informal creation of popular routes for walking, cycling and running on our country lanes in Eccleston, Heskin and Mawdesley.  It has been wonderful to see so many people out, young and old, exercising and enjoying the countryside that surrounds our villages.  However, as the lockdown has eased and car use has increased, a number of these havens are becoming dangerous.  We want to encourage and maintain the high levels of people out exercising on our lane

Woodland Trust - Hurst Wood - re current work project

The Woodland Trust in Hurst Wood, Tunbridge Wells have recently fenced off the lower access path along the stream, created a bridge in the middle section and blocked off the further path to the far bridge, which they have removed. I understood from my communications with them that this was to allow the flora and fauna to recover, as they believed that the banks had been destroyed by dog activity. I assumed at the time this was temporary but I now understand they are hoping people will forget all
