Speed Awareness in St Johns Road, Epping

This is a petition to gain support for the presence of a Community Speed Watch in St Johns Road, Epping. The vehicles that drive down the road are often travelling very fast and driving without due care and attention, when there are rarely any gaps for people to pull in.

St Johns Road is the main access road for the Primary School on Coronation Hill. With vehicles becoming larger and wider, this increases the chance of damage to cars and the threat to life not just of young children and their parents, but of senior citizens and family pets that use the road too. Already a car has been hit and sustained damage, and a senior citizen knocked over. We do not wish to see these numbers increase.
