Support the Introduction of the M3 CPZ on Wood End Avenue, South Harrow
We, the undersigned residents of Wood End Avenue, South Harrow, support the introduction of the proposed M3 Controlled Parking Zone on Wood End Avenue.
Residents have experienced increasing pressure from non-resident and commuter parking, long-stay vehicles, commercial vehicles and parking associated with nearby transport links and local amenities.
We believe that appropriate parking controls would help protect residential parking and give residents and their visitors greater opportunity to park close to their homes.
We recognise that residents across the wider M3 consultation area may have expressed different views. This petition is not intended to disregard those views or to replace the Council’s statutory consultation process.
Instead, we are asking Harrow Council to give proper consideration to the views of residents who live on Wood End Avenue and who support the proposed CPZ.
We therefore respectfully ask Harrow Council to proceed with the Wood End Avenue element of the M3 CPZ proposal, subject to the Council’s consideration of the statutory consultation responses and all relevant legal and technical requirements.
We also ask the Council to provide residents with a clear explanation and timetable for its decision regarding Wood End Avenue.
This petition is a separate resident initiative following the closure of the statutory consultation. It is intended to demonstrate continuing local support for the Wood End Avenue element of the proposal.
