Keep the obligation to provide allotments for those who need them

The government is thinking about removing the obligation of local authorities to provide allotments when a certain number of people say they need one. We really need allotments, and they will be in even greater need in the future. Please sign if you agree this change in legislation should not be allowed.

Derriford Hospital Car Parking

Staff side trade unions at Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust have reluctantly decided to initiate a campaign against the unreasonable increase in car parking charges proposed for staff at the Derriford Hospital site. Staff are very much opposed to such a large hike in charges which comes on top of continued NHS pay cuts. Staff side did suggest a compromise of a phased increase over a period of three years. The PHNT Trust Board rejected our proposal and have decided to more than double staff parking

Members are extremely frustrated with Mrs May's dissociation with conservative principles, and her willingness to involve the opposition, a party we have campaigned against to allow the Conservative Party to form a Government, in the Brexit talks. However, MPs can no longer call a vote of no confidence in her, despite many Tory activists leaving due to her actions, because they have already triggered such a vote and lost. We believe the 12 months rule is extremely harsh and undemocratic, as a lo

We demand that St Martin-in-the-Fields reverse outrageous decision to cast out loyal musicians

For 30 years our orchestras and choirs have brought joy to thousands of people and raised millions of pounds to support the work of St Martin-in-the-Fields and the homeless. Now in the midst of a global pandemic with no consultation we have been informed by email, by the Director of Music at St Martin-in-the-Fields, that our concerts will end and that evening concerts will be mainly in-house. We have effectively been summarily dismissed. We call on people of all faiths and none to support our ap
