Car Free Sundays along Foreshore Road and Marine Drive, Scarborough

We would like to progress and promote the idea of healthy futures by closing off the Marine Drive and Foreshore Road to all traffic every Sunday. The terrible exhaust fumes and noise severely restricts the enjoyment of walkers and cyclists who want to excerise and take in the scenery along this beautiful part of our coastline. Children, families, retirees, teens, walkers, joggers, cyclists, all of these people and more deserve a day without traffic despoiling the health benefits. We now call on

Support the open letter to UCLan to provide specific peer well-being and mental health care for Black students #blacklivesmatter

By signing this I suppport the open letter to the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) regarding the lack of Black representation in the university's well-being sector.  I believe that Black Lives Matter and that Black mental health matters always, but especially so at this moment and going forwards.   To the University of Central Lancashire, My name is Odette Emilie Anne Yende and I am the current BAME representative for the university. One of my main goals for this year was to try and ensu

Objection to PA20/05207

I object to this planning application. A section of the proposed trail leaves the old track bed north of Trewerry and heading south carves through a steep gradient green field to the Sustrans Cycle route 32. I do not know of any impediment that precludes the Council proposing the trail to follow the old track bed to Trewerry road crossing. Using the track bed as the route is consistent with the Council messaging about reusing existing infrastructure, lowering the visual impact of the trail by us

Thank you Taiwan

To the brilliant people of Taiwan, We, the Czech people, would like to express our sincere gratitude for helping us during the Covid-19 crisis. Rather than to thank you for your kindness our government chose to welcome planeloads of overpriced goods from China. We feel ashamed of their behaviour. The message is simple: THANK YOU. We hope we can return the favour. Thank you for giving us, the Czech Republic and the whole EU, respirators and ventilators that you could have used for yourselves or e

We believe that we should continue to get the 10% increase throughout the Covid19 pandemic

Rumours are circulating amongst workers at Aldi distribution Cardiff that they wont continue to get the 10% pay increase that Aldi have publicised, for working throughout the current pandemic.   We the workers believe this would not be fair, as we still help the company deliver the best possible service to our customers and continue to work through the crisis. We are taking risks in order to give the best possible service for Aldi distribution and for our customers

Petition to oppose building works at Kalpana House, Thame; Application P20/S4663/HH

Kalpana is within the Thame Conservation area and has already had multiple extensions putting at risk the beauty, conservation and integrity of the area. According to the Thame Conservation Area Management Plan (southoxon.gov.uk): “.......where the proposal lies within a conservation area such as Thame, a careful balance must be sought between the sensitivity of the environment and the requirements of the developer. In taking account of existing densities within the conservation area, care must

EBay: ban the reselling of consoles at inflated prices

Thousands of people are being denied the opportunity to purchase new generation games consoles, because 'scalpers' are buying them in bulk using bot technology, and selling them on at inflated prices.  EBay is facilitating this by allowing scalpers to resell Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles on its platform, almost exclusively at prices much higher than the retail cost. These consoles were launched in November 2020, and millions have been sold. A big percentage of these purchases have bee

Stop DIY Abortions!

Read more HERE Psalm 106:37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils, The Government has announced the biggest change to abortion provision since 1967. They have introduced 'telemedicine abortions'. A woman can just ring or Skype a doctor for for ‘DIY’ abortion pills, mifepristone and misoprostol. She will then perform her own abortion at home, by taking both abortion pills, meaning she will be left to deliver her dead unborn child at home without a doctor or any other med

JUSTICE FOR TYE ANDERS, FIRE CHIEF HERMAN!

On Monday May 16, 21 year old Tye Anders was terrorized by several cops at his home after he allegedly made a stop sign run. Instead of arresting him peacefully, the cops held him under gunpoint and arrested him viciously while his 90 year old grandmother fell onto Anders in order to protect him. The Anders family watched and screamed in horror as their family members were terrorized by police which resulted in Tye being taken away and charged with "evading arrest" as well, which is a blatant li

REMOVE THE WORKS COMPOUND FROM THE OVERFLOW CAR PARK AT ST MARY'S

We the signatories to this e-mail object to the lack of prior consultation over the use of St Mary's Cark Park in Plympton as a works compound, consider it a wholly unsuitable place for the siting of such a facility and call for its immediate removal and restitution of the site for intended use as a public car park. Should the council not remove the compound forthwith we call for the council to convene a public meeting to properly engage with residents on this issue. In signing this petition I c
