Stop the removal of the willow tree on St Joseph Close

On St Joseph Close stands a beautiful and grand willow tree, it must be over 100 years old, and it will be destroyed for a road. After the residents had to deal with disruption and anger throughout the building of this new estate, they now have to go through it again with a new road to be built next to their houses. The willow tree that stands on the green is to be removed for this road and it is a protected tree. However, the council has given permission for it to be removed regardless of its status of protection. Please help in the stopping of this destruction.IMG_1703.png
