We believe that by revealing and restoring the river in Stockport,  it can be re-developed as a key asset for regeneration, becoming a focal point for our town, a location for leisure and a vistor attraction thereby increasing footfall and improv

Petition against the handling of the removal of Josh Coppard

Update: We are pleased to announce that after speaking with the Blue Coat Senior Leadership Team, the issue has been resolved. The school admitted that the situation could have been handled in a different way, and they made their appreciation for Josh clear. As a result of the petition and this discussion, a goodbye and thank you event for Josh will be held for librarians and close friends in the library during April, as it is hoped that Mrs Knibbs will be back by then. Thank you for your suppo

Does The Organist Entertains on Radio 2 do more harm than good?

Over the last 10 years or so The BBC Radio 2 programme The Organist Entertains has gone from bad to worse. Someone in charge has dictated that they will now only play Classial and Theatre Pipe organ music. Anything electronic and popular has been banned. As a result the popularity of the programme has plummited and unless things change I'm sure the BBC will just drop the show. If you want to hear more popular and electronic organ music in addition to Theatre and Classical Pipe organ, then please

Keep the Crown Inn, Old Dalby as a public house

The pub has been on the current site from 1750 and is part of our village community. We believe the site may be developed for housing and as a village would like your support to keep it as a pub. It is valued facility for local people and past history has shown with the right business model the business is viable. We believe the pub should be valued by the current owner at a real market value and placed for sale with the freehold, rather than leased. Even if you are not local to our village ple

Rebecca Coriam and family need more backing by U.K. Government.

Rebecca Coriam from Chester was working as a youthworker on Disney Wonder Cruise-ship, which she loved! Under the foreign flag of convenience of the Bahamas, it was the Bahamas Police who 'investigated.'     They questioned no passengers and very few crew members.nThey promised their report to the Coriams within 3 weeks. Nearly 3 years later they have not received it
