Its unwanted & out of place; will have a devestating impact on the surrounding enviroment; & most importantly there had been no proper consultation with the community in allowing this to be passed by Shepway who need to be held accountable for this decision & it to be overturned.

It is important that this site remains a meadow. It has flooded in the past, and through nature, has recovered,to it's natural state. If buildings are placed upon it and it floods(as it surely will do) then the site will become a complete mess and a disgrace to the valley.

We need to protect our countryside and redevelop disused sites that already have building on them

Too many planning consents are issued without fully consulting the Shepway residents. Additional informationdefinitely required.

How did the Elham Caravan Site gain any form of license? This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. A pretty rare feature within Shepway surely worth conserving. It is also located on a flood plain and access to the main road is dangerous to say the least. It will not contribute in any useful way to the local economy. Does it have any virtues?
I have never seen it being used on a regular basis as a camp site and indeed I think there would be health and safety issues.

This development is not appropriate for a nationally protected landscape

Because I live in the Elham valley and I believe this caravan site is not meant for holiday makers but for travellers.
