Woodland Trust - Hurst Wood - re current work project

The Woodland Trust in Hurst Wood, Tunbridge Wells have recently fenced off the lower access path along the stream, created a bridge in the middle section and blocked off the further path to the far bridge, which they have removed. I understood from my communications with them that this was to allow the flora and fauna to recover, as they believed that the banks had been destroyed by dog activity. I assumed at the time this was temporary but I now understand they are hoping people will forget all

No uniform at Avanti hall school, Exeter.

We the undersigned do not agree with the introduction of school uniforms at Avanti hall school, Exeter. We also request that any clothing code changes happen with due consultation as previously agreed. Has any actual research been done into the usefulness of uniform in the modern school. In researching I have discovered: -There is no evidence to suggest that uniforms increase good behaviour. But there is evidence to suggest .. -no decrease in bullying , just change of type.-increase in awarenes

Protect The Four Elms Green Belt - Say No To The Housing Development

Hever Parish Council (HPC) is proposing to exploit an exception to the general prohibition of development on Green Belt Land in order to permit the construction of 10 housing association homes to rent and 3 homes to be sold on the open market in Four Elms at Bull Lane - the single track country lane used daily by families, runners, dog walkers and horse riders for exercise, recreation and peaceful appreciation of the countryside. In order to exploit the exception, HPC must demonstrate that there

Save Grimsby Golfclub's Trees and landscape

For decades Grimsby Golf Club has been known as the Lincolnshire’s jewel in the crown, with a mixture of rolling landscape lined with some of the oldest trees in Grimsby.  This year has seen the removal of so many trees and bushes on the course the venue is becoming un-recognisable,  This petition is to stop this happening NOW and persuade he board to hold an EGM where these actions can be properly discussed with the members and a democratic way forward can be achieved.

We are petitioning Birmingham City Council to improve safety and access for both pedestrians and drivers on Camelot Way and Jenkins Street. Specific issues are as follows. 1) Camelot way and Jenkins Street junction. The junction has become very dangerous due to increased traffic on Jenkins Street and drivers parking their cars at the edge of the junction, resulting in number of accidents. From Camelot Way it is a complete blind turn into Jenkins Street therefore you cannot see the vehicles comin

Objection to Permit Parking on Somerset Road and Weymouth Road, Frome

The introduction of Permit Parking on Somerset Road and Weymouth Road in Frome under Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) Mendip Order 2012, Amendment No. 16 is flawed and unfair, and we object for the following reasons:   The original reason which prompted the residents of Weymouth Road and Somerset Road to engage with the Council about Permit Parking no longer applies. Since the closure of the Steiner Academy Frome, the number of children attending the new school on the Park Road site has plummeted,

Dinas Powys Primary- Mixing of Classes (Arrangements for 21/22)

We are asking you to support us as we insist that our children's school, Dinas Powys Primary, reconsider their arrangements for the classes in September 2021. After the upsetting scenes witnessed by many of the families on Friday, we feel we have a duty to support our children in asking the Headteacher to reconsider plans to mix up the friendship groups next year.  We are so grateful for the way our wonderful teachers carried and supported our children through a difficult year with the pandemic
