STOP 5G Mast - Peabody Hill, London

Comments

#1

I strongly object to the mast and am appalled by the behaviour of Cornerstone, who have ridden roughshod over the interests of Peabody residents and are paying lip service (at best) only to seeking feedback from them

Jessica Watkin (London, 2023-03-03)

#2

Health risk from EMF to environment and human life. There are children play parks and nature reserve very nearby.

Osman Ozdemir (London, 2023-03-05)

The proposed imposing metal structure is an eyesore in the back garden of my estate, visible from Brockwell Park and beyond. It does not blend with the surrounding Peabody Woods/conservation area, spoiling the green and uninterrupted part of Peabody Hill. Children absorb more radiation; this metal structure will be towering over the children's play park and the children's sand-pit playground in proximity. How about the wildlife

Fahri Ozdemir (London, 2023-03-05)

#5

I object to this mast/pole on the grounds of siting and appearance. Totally unnecessary eyesore in an area of woodland that is special to the residents of Peabody Estate.

Pat Nicholl (London, 2023-03-06)

#6

I’m signing this because it’s a bad idea. I take my niece and nephew to the play park and the woods, all the time.

Jake Nicholl (London, 2023-03-06)

#7

I live here

I strongly disagree that this is installed at this location, if everybody’s getting a strong signal from the network provider, then it doesn’t need to go there plus we’re trying to save people from getting cancer from radiation not create this problem in young children playing in the park every day and being exposed to radiation. I know the phones give off radiation and too much phone use can over expose you to radiation, but that can’t be helped, whereas putting these masts in silly places can be helped, I know that they only give off a small amount of radiation, but it’s still giving off radiation in a built-up area and where people are having leisure time. If it can be proved that people in the area are getting a good signal then it doesn’t need to go there the only reason that it would be installed there in this situation is for money making purposes, not thinking about the environment and peoples health. They should also be a statement put together from the telecommunication company to say why all of a sudden this needs to be installed in this location, however, as I’ve already said I strongly disagree with that being installed because of peoples health and affecting the environment

Nathan Edwards (Windsor, 2023-03-06)

#9

Outrageous and inconsiderate of residents and the community.

Guy Wickett (London, 2023-03-07)

#12

Next to playground - no!

Oliver Wollaston (London, 2023-03-08)

#13

I'm signing because I don't want this mask so close to where children play. It will take up precious green space in this area but more worrying is the long term impact on health.

Tamsyn Hanrahan (LONDON, 2023-03-08)

#15

I don’t want a 5G mast next to a children’s playground or in an estate where people live. Please keep these eyesores away from peoples homes. They should be erected in industrial estates not housing estates

Tabby Harris (London, 2023-03-08)

#16

This is a playground we use frequently as it closed to school and on our way home. The reservation area is great place for the kids to run around and have picnics, the diversity of flowers and plant is wast in there and it is pleasure to live close to something that is so rare in London.

Sara Pettersson (LONDON, 2023-03-08)

#21

There is already a granted application to put a 5G mast on Rosendale Road, approx 100m from this currently proposed site. Having one of these is already too many, given the visual impact on the environment. The woodland space is both environmentally sensitive and an essential respite area for people living in the adjacent dense housing. This additional mast will have a detrimental effect on the quality of life and wellbeing of a large number of residents and users of the area.

Beverley Clark (London, 2023-03-08)

#24

i love on peabody hill and my children regularly use the play area on which they wish to erected the tower

Danielle monks (london, 2023-03-08)

#25

This proposal is in the midst of dense housing, by a playground and near a school.

Judy Rodway (LONDON, 2023-03-08)

#26

We need to stop this onslaught of mass 5g, done without proper investigation to surrounding areas and health. Conservation areas need to be protected from these giant multi-national companies.

Abilene Snow (Great Bardfield, 2023-03-08)

#27

I am OBJECTING because of the location to the homes, children's play area, workout equipment, and the climbing/ picnic area. As well as the proven risk to health. Slap bang in our beautiful woods which are protected. 😡😡😡😡

SUSAN SAULLO (London, 2023-03-08)

#33

Our family area is under attack from greedy corporations who have no qualms about running our spaces.

Gareth Hutchins (London, 2023-03-09)

#34

This will impinge on a well used recreation area.

Cara Rodway (London, 2023-03-09)

#35

I'm objecting this

Melat Assefa-Kebede (LONDON, 2023-03-09)

#36

There is no way this should be put on this site given its multifunctional use as a residential, community and nature rich area. Surely there is somewhere more appropriate e.g. edges of railway lines or semi industrial sites??? Also we have also got one being put up very close by on Rosendale Road -(next to our childrens school) so why on earth do we need another??

alice Allan (London, 2023-03-09)

#38

This is not an appropriate site

Jacqueline Bird (London, 2023-03-09)

#40

I live nearby

Matthew Saunders (London, 2023-03-09)

#42

There is no reason for these to be next to schools and playgrounds and it seems to be a policy of planners to put them in these locations.
Detailed studies of the any harmful effects have yet to be done. I don't know why it's allowed that they be placed near the most vulnerable in our society - children

Thomas Palmer (London, 2023-03-09)

#43

Based on siting and appearance

Helen Ketchen (London, 2023-03-10)

#44

I do not want this 5G Mast next to the children’s play area or my home.
We have lots of wildlife in this area and it would put the elderly residents at risk and others health.

Camilla Ketter (London, 2023-03-10)

#45

I am against 5G towers near humans

Lisa Jordan (London , 2023-03-10)

#47

disagree 100% due our welfare.

Robert Barnett (London, 2023-03-11)

#49

I do not want this mast next to my mothers house as this will emit radio-waves that will cause headaches and other health issues to the residents of the estate. Plus it’s an eyesore.

Dewi Jennings-Slater (London, 2023-03-12)

#50

Do not want on the estate

Christine Connor (London , 2023-03-12)

#53

I live on the hill and do not want this directly in front of my house.

Martha Jennings-Slater (London , 2023-03-13)

#54

I agree with the reasons stated.

louise robles (London , 2023-03-13)

#58

This could be a health hazard. There has been little or no research done on radiation levels.

Virginia Pizzoferro (London , 2023-03-14)

#59

I'm concerned that insufficient research has been done so far to know this is safe long term

Jan Henderson (London, 2023-03-14)

Ruth Butler (London, 2023-03-15)

I object to this mast/pole on the grounds of siting and appearance

Harry Hawkes (London, 2023-03-15)

#63

I think this will not only be unsightly but more importantly will be a danger to people’s health

Yvonne Dutch (London, 2023-03-15)

#64

I'm signing because I'm very worried that the children, who play on the on the grass, and surrounding areas, will be adversely affected by the close proximity of significant electrical activity.

Carole Dooley (London, 2023-03-15)

#65

I object to this mast/pole on the grounds of siting and appearance

Mo Butler (London, 2023-03-16)

#66

Nobody want this 5g to be fiited close the children’s play area

Jay Clarke (London , 2023-03-16)

#70

I object to this mast pole on the grounds of siting and appearance. I have close family i regularly visit this area.

Shakira McCloud (Miton Keynes, 2023-03-18)

#72

This is area is used by residents and the proposed mast would tower over their homes possibly putting their property and health at risk.

Karem Layden (London, 2023-03-18)

#73

The proposed mast would tower of residents properties possibly causing damage to their homes and health.
The area where the mast is to be erected is used by residents.
The proposed mast would spoil the views of Brockwell Park and the Peabody woods.

Cameron Layden (Herne Hill, 2023-03-18)

#74

I object to the proposed phone mast near my home and my child's favourite playground.

Amarra Casey (London, 2023-03-19)

#77

There is no need for a 5g post to be put there. Your are destroying the look of the estate and planning to put it in between 2 playgrounds for kids when there has been research into the negative impacts of 5g. It's super ugly, it's super unhealthy, it's super unecessary, and a consultation was never done properly you didn't even ask the majority of people on the estate before planning to erect this mast. The estate is surrounded by protected woodland and it's already like everything natural is being taken away from us for technology and money without everyday people having a say or actually being listened to and respecting their wishes

Ellie McLean (London , 2023-03-20)

#78

I live close by Peabody Hill and it it would tower over the homes of nearby residents, residents and visitors to children's play park, children's & toddler's sandpit park, health/fitness area and Peabody Woods, dominating their views and exposing them to possible health risks from 5G radiation.

Ute Theobald (London, 2023-03-21)

#79

No child or family deserves to be poisoned by that tower

Tivai Masimbe (Coventry, 2023-03-22)

#80

I'm opposing this as I live near as this might pose health risk to me and everybody around.

Memusi Naigoyek (London, 2023-03-22)

#81

This will be a detriment to the Wildlife, animals, children & people of the Peabody Woods/Conservation area not to mention the EMF radiation that will be pumped out 247 over a beautiful Natural part of the South London area.
The last thing we need is more masts / Radiation spoiling the views as well! People, Life, Nature & Community come before Profits & big Business!! The times are now changing & its time for people to matter first!!

Verney Montoute (London, 2023-03-24)

#84

Local residents who would be affected by this monstrosity have not been properly consulted. This would be very damaging to the local area for both residents and wildlife. There is already a mast at the other end of Peabody Hill!

Andrea Cornfield (LONDON, 2023-03-28)

#86

The election of a mast in this location is entirely inappropriate.

Alison Mullaney (London, 2023-03-28)

#87

I'm a resident. This is so annoying. There are so many residents awaiting for repairs to be done. Roads need doing . Various disrepairs that are ongoing. On top off all of that, they are increasing our rent for this shambles. I refuse to agree to this monstrosity, we don't need it or want it ruining our health & habitat.. Do something more constructive like fixing our homes.

Shaumane Richards (London, 2023-03-29)

#89

I live on the estate and I have young children who uses that park. Plus there is not enough information to say that 5g is safe it has more stats saying that it is more harmful.

Sheena Brown (London , 2023-03-29)

#90

It is not essential and I believe it does more harm than good

Kate Read (London, 2023-03-30)

#93

We dont want this so close to where we live and where our children play Not only is it an eye sore, noisy and unnecessary it is also a potential health hazard

Philip Hunt (LONDON, 2023-03-30)

#94

I want to say no 5g due the side effects please

Sultan Salimi (London , 2023-03-30)

rix pyke (london, 2023-04-02)

#106

I don't agree with putting a 5G mast in a location like this. It is too close to housing, children's play areas and wildlife. It has NOT been proven safe.
