The cricket pitch is big enough for adult games. As for full information - most people who have signed the petition seem to think that the council are selling the land and it will all be lost to housing which is not true.

Epsom and Ewell Council DO NOT own the land, but they (the Planning Committee Councillors) DO hold the power to decide whether this development will go ahead or not.

If you're against this development, you must contact your local Epsom and Ewell Councillor to protest.

Once planning permission is granted, it will be too late to do anything.

Once some of the land is built on, will the rest of the land be built on?

The proposed cricket pitch has a boundary diameter of c. 90-100m ie. sufficient for junior cricket, but far too small for 'Surrey Championship' cricket which is current accommodated.  ECB recommendation is 137m
