This petition will hopefully save abuse victoms like myself, so many people commit suicide because of the abuse. It is wrong and I don't know how someone cab sleep at night knowing what they did to they're own flesh and blood, you made that child,and now your abusing it.

After reading about the poor little boy that was left for 8 days to die by his parents my heart was broken. I have a 5month old baby and would do anything in my power to protect him. It's unthinkable that a child's parents would harm them, and then you have everyone else that is a potential threat. It's just ridiculous and a zero tolerance policy needs to be in place. There is no situation or circumstances that any form of child abuse from any person should be tolerated. I commend you for standing up and fighting for those who can not fight for them selves. As a 58 yr old survivor and victim of both child and adult abuse. I am still extremely affected from my experiences, imparticularly from the childhood abuse and cruelty. The effects have had an enormous emotional impact on how I have functioned, and haunted me my entire life time. The hurt never leaves you. A supporting agency is seriously needed to help the huge amount of victims of these heinous, heartless crimes. Its a grave stain on our so called civilised society, that historically these child abuse crimes have been going on for centuries, with most of us suffering in silence, with little support, and the perpetrators getting away with it.

There are too many of us out there !

This is important. For too long the Establishment & those in authority have protected the abusers rather than the victims of abuse. This has to stop. And those that are guilty must be punished whilst an agency initiated to support the victims.

People seem unaware of the amount of abuse that goes on. It seems that many child sex abusers are in a high position or a respectable position of trust. We need to make people aware that many abused children are vulnerable to family,friends and neighbours.
