Closure of Park Ave will result in more suicides of PD sufferers in crisis, increased attendance at A&E, increased pressure for In Patient admissions at Little Brook etc. and an increase in pressure on a Mental Health Budget which is at best insufficient and creaking at the seams!

another service cut by the NHS? maybe they should stop giving out boob jobs instead and treating people with real needs!

Without the help of the team at Park Avenue, I'd be dead.

There are no other mental health services in the area. It is vital we keep this service going

This placed helped me so much - not only the therapy but helped me to become more confident and mix with other people. I am now looking for a job which is something I would never of done a year ago. The staff are so friendly and kept me out of hospital .Please don't let Park avenue close. Its the lifeline for many people in medway.

The press need to know about this place closing down. My daughter relies on park avenue . It has kept her out of hospital so surely this is a good thing .

Health services in Medway are appalling but mental health ones simply don't exist any more. Population is too big and yet they still want to build more houses. How many mentally ill people have to commit crimes or suicide before this downward spiral ceases?

Having worked with young people with mental health disorders, I know how vital it is that they get the right support to help them overcome their personal challenges. We should be providing more support avenues, not less.

i signed this petition as have a lovely friend who needs this place for her sanity and safety plus there are many other people who need same. these days, so much money is wasted on things that are not important. Life is important and everyone deserves as best a one as possible which, in turn, means they need help when they need it.
