I see Eddie every day going to work, I have never seen his dog Floyd being out of control or vicious in anyway. Eddie is always polite and is not causing any harm to anyone

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1402

He needs help for himself and pets

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1403

The council should be helping this man not persecuting him. I've put money in his box many times , the dog has never even moved let alone acted viciously . This is disgusting .

(Spalding , 2017-01-22)

#1404

I lived in peterborough till 8 years ago i remember him unfair to take his dogs away from him his one support lifeline friends

(Leeds, 2017-01-22)

#1410

I love my dog and I cannot bear to imagine how Eddie must be feeling about this risk of losing his best friends.

(Bourne , 2017-01-22)

#1411

I'm signing because it's disgraceful that both dogs are being petitioned to be killed. I've never seen the dog be a problem to anyone

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1416

This is just not right. The dogs are not dangerous. I have seen them hundreds of times! They just want him and his beloved dogs gone as it doesn't fit the image they want! I'm now ashamed to be peterborough born and bred! Disgusting.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1421

This is appalling ! What has the man or his dogs done to warrant this kind of treatment ? I hope he wins his case and keeps his dogs, good luck Sir

(Birmingham, 2017-01-22)

#1424

These 2 dogs are his only family. Dont take his family away.

(Dudley, 2017-01-22)

I know this guy and have stroked his dogs, they are not vicious! This whole thing is out of order

(Huntingdon, 2017-01-22)

(Bourne, 2017-01-22)

#1428

I have know Eddie for many years and bitsy they are friendly and lovely and I have never seen any trouble from them.

(March, 2017-01-22)

#1429

I've stroked this dog before and was so lovely. I've even bought this man a McDonald's meal in the past because he's so loeky and his dog has always been on his lap asleep or jut sitting down. It's preposterous that he would even be accused of having a dangerous dog in town!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1432

It is so disgusting to put the animals down. I believe that all animals are friendly even the ones that do turn sometimes. With training and support any dog can change! I do not believe these dogs are dangerous! I have seen both dogs over my time living in Peterborough and I have never heard a peep from them! How can they be dangerous! The owner is friendly and is always open to letting people pet his dog! If it was a problem then he would not allow people to do so!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1435

This is out of order and lies

#1451

This is disgusting instead of taking his best friend away help the guy

(Barnsley, 2017-01-22)

#1452

I'm signing this because I've spent a few minutes on many different Saturdays with this guy and the one dog, buy him and his babba some food and a hot drink for him when it's cold. He and his beloved pets need helping not hunting by cold hearted bastards who I'm pretty sure have pets of there own.

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1461

I do not belive the's dogs are dangerous as many people are willing to vouch for them

(Bridgnorth , 2017-01-22)

#1465

whoever came up with this idea, needs to think, that dog has never hurt anyone, if the owner wore a suit & tie he would not be picked on,

(swaffham norfolk, 2017-01-22)

#1467

The government, society and all humanity should be helping the needy so that they shouldn't have to live on the streets. Instead we are punishing them by falsely accusing them of charges, as if that will clear them off the streets. Simply put, the government doesn't give a damn about the homeless and is quite happy to throw them in prison to make their streets look clean and their government and society caring and equal.

(Cambridge, 2017-01-22)

#1469

This guy has it bad enough why would you take away one of the few things which bring him happiness?

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1474

It's horrible and nasty to do this to someone.

(Belfast, 2017-01-22)

#1475

The dog is perfectly well behaved

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1479

I am horrified at your lack of compassion for this man and his companion animal. Bad enough that he is homeless - is your council doing anything to assist in that area? But now you want to take away the one thing of value he owns and loves. Shame on you - Shame on you. Any one who knows anything about dogs can see that this dog is not vicious - he may well bark when he feels threatened or feels his owner is threatened, he may well bark at other dogs passing by - this in the dog world is called communication - seems perhaps he communicates better than some people in your town. Please do not destroy Eddie's dogs - rather look at a way to enable Eddie to keep them both in secure and safe conditions. Become proactive rather than reactive - the eyes of the world are now watching your little patch of turf - set an example, show some compassion and care for your citizens and their loved pets. Some of us have nothing and no one to love and often no one loves us either. It is a cold, lonely world when love is missing from it.

(Ipswich, 2017-01-22)

(Grantham, 2017-01-22)

#1492

I'm signing because I have actually taken the time to sit with this man and see the incredible bond he has with his dogs. He's inspirational to me as a dog owner.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1493

I'm signing because those dogs are all this poor man has!! Cruel enough to allow people to live in those conditions and now you want to take his only friends?! I've walked past him and his dogs countless times and they have never posed any such threat - even with my 5 year old with me. Leave the man and his dog alone; if the dog is such an issue find them both somewhere to live other than the streets.

(Cambridgeshire, 2017-01-22)

#1494

Please let this man be with his only family he has left!!

(Ibiza, 2017-01-22)

(BARNOLDSWICK , 2017-01-22)

Eddie is a lovely man and bitsy is such a well behaved and devoted dog. If the council are so bothered about a "vicious" dog, then why can't they find Eddie a place to live.

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1529

It's an absolute disgrace that this man is threatened with losing the two things he has left in this world!! The dog is lovely and is no threat to anyone. I'm embarrassed to live in such a cruel and unjust world!

(Peterborough , 2017-01-22)

#1539

Leave the poor man alone. How is destroying his dogs going to solve anything? Have the courts nothing better to do? Shocking decision!

(Peterborough, 2017-01-22)

#1544

The dog isn't vicious, he is Eddie's friend. Why make his life worse by doing this to him. The council need to concentrate on more pressing issues!!
