(derby, 2016-12-06)

#3

I'm a volunteer in the shops and I really hope we don't have to shut down because of the families we give holidays too

(Derby, 2016-12-06)

#13

i believe in this man and all he has done for so many families

(skegness, 2016-12-06)

#15

Sssn provides holidays for needy families and all their efforts to raise money should go towards holidays and not council tax

(Doncaster, 2016-12-06)

#16

This is a good man doing and amazing thing for the vulnerable. It's discusting that this is even an issue

(worksop, 2016-12-06)

(st austell, 2016-12-06)

My child was born at 28 weeks and suffers from chronic lung disease. He was on home oxygen due to this lung disease and we were offered a free holiday weekend in the caravans sssn provide. Unfortunately we couldn't get to the caravan as we didn't have any way of getting to it. Sssn offer holidays for terminally Ill children too, so there families can create memories while they can. Sssn is a personal favourite charity of mine because of the generous things they do for poorly children and there families

(Derby, 2016-12-06)

#28

This is a great cause that should be treated as a charity

(Liverpool , 2016-12-06)

#29

keep sssn goin its is wrong for the council to do what they are doing

(derby, 2016-12-06)

#30

I am signing because Derby county council should be supporting things like this. By doing what they are doing. Hundreds of deserving people could lose holidays that they fully deserve

(Luton, 2016-12-06)

#32

This group provides free holidays to special needs families, those with life threatening conditions and those who have suffered abuse, to make memories that last a lifetume, there is little in this world of council cutbacks and government cut backs to those that need it, this group provides for the needs of these specialised groups, for gods sake get a grip and support this group not take money from them.

(Kings lynn, 2016-12-06)

#35

They give disabled families a well earned holiday in one of there vans and they use to shop to pay for the vans and up keep

(Derbyshire , 2016-12-06)

#37

It's a charity close to my heart

(Nottinghamshire , 2016-12-06)

#38

This charity does so much for children and adults with special needs by giving them a free break to make family memories

(Sheffield , 2016-12-06)

#41

I ran this group with michael and bec and ithink that this is terrible x

(SHEFFIELD, 2016-12-06)

#42

Please this is a charity that does amazing work and gives families a much need break xx

(DERBY, 2016-12-06)

#43

This is a brilliant thing that Michael is doing without him the children that deserve holidays for what ever reasons wouldn't get the opportunity

(Derby , 2016-12-06)

#44

I think this is an absolute disgrace, how can someone who is providing such a lovely service be penalised in this way?

(Derby , 2016-12-06)

#45

The good that is done by Michael and his dedicated team needs to continue. Derby City Council should be ashamed of its self

(Derby , 2016-12-06)

#46

We should be supporting good people who are giving back to the community. They should not be penalised for helping others in need.

(Derby, 2016-12-06)

#50

Micheal has been absolutely brilliant and he's named one of the four caravans after my niece amelia that sadly passed away he truly is one in a million and every person should be proud of what he is doing for the community there is a lot of respect for this gentleman and his team .

(Nottingham , 2016-12-06)

#51

I have a special needs child

(ASHFORD, 2016-12-06)

#56

I am the mum of two diabled children plus two other children with complex medical conditions in ill health myself. I have never had a holiday from sssn but see the wonderful work they do. I feel that the charity should have a back dated exemption . Without muchael and his team at sssn many families wiuld not get a break . Just a coyple of days can make a difference to carers and the ill alike please reconsider

(Barnsley , 2016-12-06)

#59

(derby, 2016-12-06)

#64

This is to give children a lovely holiday free of charge and michael works so so hard

(Derby, 2016-12-06)

#65

This charity cannot and should not be forced to close. The difference that this charity makes to these children is phenomenal.

(Manchester, 2016-12-06)

#66

This charity does truly amazing things for so many families Xx

(Derby, 2016-12-06)

#67

Politicians are nasty people unlike SSSN who strive to work the backside off to give the best for those people in need unlike the greedy disgusting council people.

(Derby, 2016-12-06)

#69

This is a fantastic scheme that helps alot of people and deserves support

(derby, 2016-12-07)

#70

So wrong how they can put this charity out of business they do so many special things for some children it's the last thing they remember in their short life

(Derbys, 2016-12-07)

#72

They gave us our first break,it was well needed could afford to pay for one myself at the time.they do a fantastic job

(Sheffield , 2016-12-07)

#75

This charity has made such a difference to soo many families across the UK, giving them the opportunity to have a family holiday during a very difficult time. You just need to read the posts on facebook to see how important this charity is to soo many people, especially the children who would not have the chance to experience a family holiday without the hard work from Michael and his team. Surely changing the lives of families in need is more important than money?!?!

(Derby , 2016-12-07)

#76

It's a disgrace by the council

(Derby, 2016-12-07)

#78

(Newcastle, 2016-12-06)

#83

From day one I've seen how sssn has flourished and the good that they've done, also I know how much a break can mean to a family with disabilities

(Chesterfield, 2016-12-07)

#88

What Michael has done over the last year is fantastic and put smiles on children's faces, many are at end of life treatment and this is their last wish to spend time with all there family to make memories,Michael goes above and beyond to make this happen

(derby, 2016-12-07)

#89

Sssn and Michael which runs it does so much for the community and venerable people

(Derby, 2016-12-07)

#90

I think Michael Ryan is doing a great job and is enabling the sick and disabled to make memories

(Derby, 2016-12-07)

#91

I am a supporter of SSSN

(West Sussex, 2016-12-07)

#93

The people who have been there from day one has always been there for the children and their families my grandson has had a holiday from this group and it ment so much to my daughter while she was going through a bad time we has a family appreciate everything that the group has done. Michael is a fantastic person always puts others first I remember when he was considering starting the group up all the threats he had towards him he carried on with all the hard work. The group has put smiles on loads of children's faces and made fond memories for all families. It's all about the kids xx

(Sheffield , 2016-12-07)

#96

What Michael Ryan and SSSN are doing is raising money so that disabled and terminally ill children/adults can make special memories by giving them a free holiday that they may need before anything serious happens. Its a non profit organization cus its all paid to maintain the up keep of the caravans and ground rent.
surely the council should help us keep this organization going by wavering the council tax. I will help fight this all the way as my dear friends daighter had a holiday from sssn, made beautiful memories and has now sadly passed away. One of the caravans has been named in her memory, are the council going to upset the family even more by taking that away from them. Rip princess chards we will fight for you and all other sssn users sweetheart xx

(Derby, 2016-12-07)

#99

This is disgraceful this company provides holidays for very ill people where are your morals

(Stoke-on-Trent , 2016-12-06)

(Derby, 2016-12-07)

#101

Iam signing because Derby city council are out of order for doing this and it isn't fair on mr Ryan because all he wants to do is help disabled children and their families have a holiday.

(Swadlincote, 2016-12-06)

#105

I'm signing because this is an invaluable charity offering short breaks to families in need. As the council is unable to ,provide this service it is vital that this work continues.

(long eaton, 2016-12-07)

#110

This group do so much for adults and children who need a break from life, I have two disabled children it's hard to afford the extra things in life like holidays, lucky I get help from family fund, but some families can't get this, It would be such a shame and do many will lose out if it can no longer run :(
