Remove Godfrey Lebea as Councillor of Lenasia Ward 8

The residents of Lenasia humbly request your signature on this petition to remove Godfrey Lebea as the current Councillor of Lenasia Ward 8 citing his below incompetency’s as a Councillor:

1. Lack of Community Engagement. He does not reply to phone calls, text messages or emails. He does not attend Community meetings.
2. Misuse of Office. He encourages illegal land grabs for informal settlements such as Pitseng and New York in Lenasia extension 9 and 10 respectively.
3. Failure to perform the functions of office in good faith, honestly and in a transparent manner. He constantly evades his responsibilities, dodging accountability at every turn.
4. Failure to act in the best interest of Ward 8. He clearly has a hidden agenda for personal gain colluding with other like-minded greedy and corrupt people for his benefit and best interest.
5. Failure to make decisions on behalf of the Community. Instead, he chooses to engage in actions that harm the community.

Godfrey is not interested in serving Ward 8 and the community of Ward 8. Our streets are full of potholes, our street lights have not been working for decades and the place is riddled with rubbish and illegal dumpsites popping up from corner to corner.

Godfrey does not care about water problems or electricity problems in our area let alone the high crime rate, why should he as he does not even live here! Most of our people have never even seen his face—he is a ghost that lingers, haunting us from the shadows.

We, the undersigned, urgently demand the immediate removal of this incompetent and ineffective Councillor.
