Removal of unsightly Kee Klamp Handrails from Maiden lane Roofs
When the roofs were last worked on somebody thought it was a good idea to put a scaffolding (Kee Klamp) handrail around the edges of some of the estate rooves as a health and safety measure. These handrails are inappropriate, look ridiculous, temporary and provisional and ruin the line of the roofs. The new blocks do not have anything like this. The current works to replace the defective roof covering is an opportunity to include strong points for safety line and harness systems and we call on the council to do this.
