Petition Openreach to upgrade to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP)

Please help us raise enough signatures to petition Openreach to upgrade our local cabinets in Charlestown and Limekilns.

At the moment we have (FTTC) -fibre to the cabinet- and the speeds are very good but unfortunately from the cabinets to our homes the cabling infrastructure is very poor. In allot of areas the cabling used is aluminium, this explains the loss of speed you suffer from and the unstable connection. The minimum standard used should be coper, but this network will not be upgraded and the only thing Openreach can do is patchwork temporary repairs (from what I have seen, it’s more like a game of wake a mole) The investment from the government is focused on Fibre and upgrading houses to be able to receive (FTTP Fibre to the premises – home). This petition would put us on the waiting list and show our interest in this service.
