#1 Andre Marriner, Blatent Cheat!!!!!!!!

2013-11-11 16:04

Mike Riley is an out and out wimp. Like all refs, he's happy picking up his massive salery whilst the fans suffer again! It's so plain for everyone to see that Amdre Marriner is a blatant cheat, but he gets away with it! Fancy putting a self confessed Aston Villa fan in charge of a WBA game. It's asking for trouble. Stand up Mr Riley and explain please!!

Personally, I think it would be better if FIFA were to adopt video playback and therefore eliminate any explanation by, and ill-will towards, officials etc. We could also see who are the diving culprits in the game.
Why is it that other major sports have taken up video playback and not Football?
Please, let's move with the times.

I would be very wary of using such terms as cheat, or you way end up getting sued!

If I had carried out my work to the same standard as the referee at the Swansea v Stoke game on Sunday 10 November, I would have been sacked.

Robert Madley`s decision in giving Stoke a penalty against Swansea has made me sign this petition, If I had made an error like his in my work my employers would have pulled me up about it, Referee's get away with it to easy in my opinion. Human error never ! Total imcompetence YES !!

The major problem with the penalty awarded at Swansea yesterday was that the official did not whistle until the ball went out of play. Indisputable evidence that the decision was not immediate.

Stop wingeing you lot! It all evens out by the end of the season and most,if not every
Team will benefit from a poor decision.

The game at the Liberty was pretty unique I think in the fact that there wasn't just the penalty decision that was highly contentious . Leading up to that there were a series of decisions including a handball and a retaken corner that were dubious to say the least. Once might be unfortunate , twice coincidence , Thrice . Well I'll let you decide.

Also I wonder if you would be so forgiving if one bad decision costs your team a place in the premiership at the end of the season.

Referees should be regularly re-assessed. If they don't meet a defined criteria, then they should be sent for retraining. If they still fail they should lose their licence.

I signed this after seeing a pathetic, inept performance by the ref in the Swansea v Stoke game last Sunday.

Sadly just one of many this year and not just watching my team.

hi i would also like the ref to tell the goal keepers he will not tolorate time wasting it really bugs me if the ref would book the offending keeper after a few warnings he would soon hurry it up but you very rarely see them getting booked after all its cheating rant over

From an Ian Fleming novel "Once is circumstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action, Mr Bond." The penalty decision was enemy action as I described in #12.

it was not just the penalty... but the other decisions he made leading to the penalty

A football team should be able to appeal a referee's decision to a panel. The panel will have the right to uphold or overturn the decision.
