the facilities that are presently available for this sport are run down or not fit for use in Nuneaton. Youth groups are being cut because of lack of funding, and complaints are made all the time about kids causing a nuisance on the streets. Give them something to do instead of taking it away, and you will solve both issues

Need a skatepark in whitestone , there's a perfect space for a halfpipe in the park by my house

Look at it this way - the kids need somewhere decent to skate, otherwise they will find places such as the multi story car park and other places that aren't exactly suitable. The Plaza in Stockingford was a good start but either revamp the Jubilee centre (which is borderline criminally bad - in both design and safety) or build a new one. Make it concrete, make it a permanent investment in our young people and help them make positive decisions and take up a lifelong sport. Signed - a 25 year old skateboarder
