Anti Social behaviour/Drug dealing/ unemployment/Alcoholism, these are the problems in today's Society. Are you all in touch with these problems, do you not think your time would be better served tackling them and not decent Law abiding citizens going about their Passtime with due care and attention.? This is 2011 and not 1811, surely you must listen to your electorate and other interested Parties.

#27 tail-docking ban

2011-01-25 02:57

to ban tail-docking is to defile this noble breed of dog. Tail-docking is in the best interests of the dog as tail damage often causes horrific injury and can result in total amputation. Better for the dog as a puppy, when the nerve-endings are not truly functional, to have a painless docking. As far as Dobermans are concerned, this is a travesty as they are so active and playful, tail damage will undoubtedly be a frequent occurrence. I'm sure the vets are rubbing their hands with glee. More business for them. Shame! shame! Politicians deal with the real cruelty to animals especially the ones killed for food and leave the welfare of our beloved show-dogs to us. We are the people who love animals! Maybe someone missed that point. This issue will not be a vote stealer for you>

#28 Its all about FREEDOM OF CHOICE

2011-03-01 13:04

Let the greenies go to hell and concentrate on real issues. Its my choice to own the dog I want, I pay for them, look after them, and I want them to look like I like them. Go and find real issues of cruelty to waste your energy on. Docked dogs should be allowed ANYWHERE - FREEDOM OF CHOICE
