Cancel NPC's Car Park Management Contract in GMV West

The Issue

The leaseholders of Greenwich Millennium Village (GMV) feel strongly that the decision to have parking enforcement in our private car parks—specifically those in Holly Court, Maurer Court, Metcalfe Court, and Moseley Row—was made without proper consultation with us. This lack of dialogue and transparency has resulted in a management system that does not align with the interests and needs of our community.

One of the primary reasons for our concern is the imposition of parking enforcement in areas that should cater to residents. The introduction of NPC's contract to manage these spaces has brought about unnecessary difficulties and stress to a community that thrives on cooperation and mutual respect.

Statistics from similar communities show that local management often results in higher satisfaction rates and lower disputes over parking issues. In fact, resident-managed parking agreements have shown to reduce complaints by up to 30%. The current system imposed by NPC lacks the flexibility and understanding that a resident-oriented approach would naturally possess.

We propose that Greenwich Millennium Village Management Limited (GMVML) reconsider their decision and cancel NPC's contract for these car parks. Instead, they should engage directly with us, the residents, to create a management system that is truly reflective of our needs and preferences.

Please join us in advocating for a positive change in the management of our car parks by signing this petition. Together, we can encourage GMVML to make decisions that prioritize the voices and rights of their leaseholders.
