Would love to see the idiots that removed the much needed disabled parking, attempt to park and disembark from a large mobility van with a wheelchair and much needed life saving equipment in a normal parking space!

This is absolutely ludicrous.

It's a shame someone who decided the set up for car parking for the disabled didn't actually try it for themselves

No spaces, people blocking the rear entrance for the wheelchair, uneven pavements, hills etc... with a wheelchair its bad enough but when i got my other kids and their buggies with me - what is it exactly i'm supposed to do? Stop his chair from tipping along uneven, narrow pavements and leave the babies behind? or vice versa....? doesnt help blue badges are given to some who dont actually need it :o(

Disabled parking is needed everywhere, especially at hospitals, why take it away ? Does it mean people are any less disabled , it's pure stupidity and needs putting back ASAP

Personally I find it absurd that anyone with an iota of sense would even consider this act. As somebody with a debilitating disease myself and has the pleasure of looking forward to a future of requiring physical help myself that this is actually even being considered.

I am disabled my self and I think it is very important for disabled parking places are near the hospital etc doors especially if the disabled is your child think of the plight of the parents

I have to attend the children's hospital on a regular basis with my daughter who's coming up 2. I'm disabled and cannot walk. I have to be accompanied and have even had to discharge her from some services as it was too hard for me to get her there. We were told last week this has impacted her health, which I know but it is impossible to get there. I have even had to call upon favors from my 85 year old grandfather to drop us off.

If we could park outside the hospital I could resume appointments and services which she needs to attend.
