Changing child support calculations.

I Sarah Bowren believe child support has been misused for years! I have met so many mothers, fathers and stepparents that have had to live off the bare minimum because they owe so much child support a month. In my experience my spouse makes to much money for food stamps but we still struggle to buy food, or diapers for our child, or just being able to afford rent is a stretch. I believe that the child support calculations should go off essential bills such as rent/mortgage, water, electric/gas, car payment/car insurance, health insurance and bare necessities for the children. This would make it so the individual paying child support can afford their bills. If a father is making 6 figures a year a mother should not make a percentage of his pay she should have a set amount to be able to pay for clothes, food, diapers and copays if needed ect. I have met so many people that pay child support that can't do anything with their kids because they are dead broke that can't even afford their bills let alone take their family to dinner. While the people receiving child support are going on vacations and buying designer clothes. I have met men that won't get a divorce just to avoid the outrageous child support cost and not wanting to fight to see their children in court. Due to court systems being bias to father's. I also believe child support should be tracked, just like food stamps. Anything bought or payed for with child support should be for the children. Many women I have seen have 5+ kids to be able to have checks every month. We need a change. Child support is to support a child not a parent with expensive taste and bitter feelings towards the other parent.
