Save Cayley Kiosk

Conwy County are going to demolish the kiosks along Rhos Promenade without offering any alternatives. This will put people out of work and destroy livelyhoods. Also, the Cayley Kiosk provides a social lifeline for quite a number of people who live locally and meet and socialise 364 days of the year. Please sign the petition to retain the kiosk or for Conwy County to offer a realistic viable alternative.

Petition to Introduce Operational Hours of Use at Waterside Gardens

For many years, residents in the local area have had a number of incidents of antisocial behaviour. Whilst the antisocial behaviour does occur throughout the year, in the Spring and Summer months, activity in the Waterside Gardens does increase causing higher nuisance reports. We are seeking your support to our petition to LB Tower Hamlets to introduce similar operational hours of use at Waterside Gardens, as is the case at Wapping Rose Gardens which is operated from 0600 to 2100 daily. Woodland Trust - Hurst Wood - re current work project

The Woodland Trust in Hurst Wood, Tunbridge Wells have recently fenced off the lower access path along the stream, created a bridge in the middle section and blocked off the further path to the far bridge, which they have removed. I understood from my communications with them that this was to allow the flora and fauna to recover, as they believed that the banks had been destroyed by dog activity. I assumed at the time this was temporary but I now understand they are hoping people will forget all

Stop The Migrant Channel Crossings

June 2021 was the worst month on record for illegal Channel crossings, with 2,100 arrivals.  This graph, produced by Migration Watch, highlights the escalating scale of the problem by showing reported Channel migrant crossings for the first six months of each year, 2018-2021: The likelihood is that about 20,000 migrants will cross the Channel from Europe in 2021, to add to the 46,000 who are known to have crossed over the previous three years.  And these figures will significantly underestimate

We demand a full public inquiry into the Met police following the murder of Sarah Everard

The kidnap, rape and murder of Sarah Everard by a serving Met police officer has sent shock waves through communities in the UK. Subsequent details revealing that he was called 'the rapist' by work colleagues; was known to watch violent pornography; and had exposed himself just days before the brutal attack have only served to further terrify the public, particularly women and girls. Yet so far the Met's response has been, at best, woefully inadequate. We need a full public inquiry to answer the

It's time for the Minor Injuries Unit at Cossham Hospital

In 2014 a petition was raised by the late Reg Bennett and the Reformed Save Cossham Hospital Group calling for the promised minor injury unit (MIU) at Cossham Hospital in Kingswood to be opened. The petition received cross-party political support and received 18,000 signatories. The Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) responded by implementing a two-year trial offering minor injury treatment at GP surgeries instead, claiming the costs were half of the anticipated £1m a year for the MIU at Cossham

Regime Change at Gillingham F.C.

Dear Gillingham FC Supporters, Divided we are solitary voices of the dissatisfied, together we can be a movement for true change at Gillingham FC. We have witnessed the club's slow decline financially in recent times. The cracks had been papered over with small windfalls from player sales and the Centreplate court case, however there have been no recent events of this nature and we currently cannot name a full match day squad. Paul Scally came at a time of near oblivion, there's no denying that

United utilities have this year 2021 stopped the use of paddleboards on two of its lake district lakes which were previously allowed. They still allow the use of Kayaks and Canoes on these lakes (this includes inflatables) The reason is, they consider there is a higher risk of drowning accidents by the use of SUPs due the increased risk of falling into cold water.
