Stop planning permission being granted on Redvers Site

If planning permission is approved flats will be built directly opposite and within the boundaries of Phoenix Academy Junior school on Glencoe Road Chatham Kent. We feel this will put children at risk as we can not guarantee the type of residents that will reside here. The flats will be on full view of the school and residents will easily be able to see into the school windows. There is also concerns about the increase of traffic and parking. The Safety of our children is priority

Add Abbott Freestyle Libre to the Irish Long Term Illness Scheme

The Abbott Freestyle Libre Flash monitering system was recently made available to buy privately in Ireland. We as a type 1 community plead with the Irish government that it is added to the Long Term Illness Scheme. This is a life changing device for all Type 1 diabetics but the cost makes it restricted to the general public. Our kids especially need this devicie, they deserve an easier life free from finger pricks.

Save our Stage

The committee of the Booth Hall in Catterick Village are planning to remove the stage. This stage is part of the interior of the building and marks the hall out as one of few in the area with a fixed stage. To remove it would be a travesty- altering the interior of the hall beyond all recognition and depriving future generations. Please sign our petition to show your support. Save Our Stage!

ban fireworks in ALL residential area's

Why must our pets go through trauma every year?  Fireworks is a menace and should be banned.  If you want to shoot the rubbish then there should be a specified location OUTSIDE and far away from any form of residential area.   This should become illegal and those found in possession or using them should be severely punished.  This country is in turmoil and its time to STAND TOGETHER
