Traffic & Speed problems in District 3

slow_down_1.jpegslow_down_3.jpegslow_down.jpegIMG_20210306_120450569.jpgThe recent accident that took place on NE 2nd & 11th Ave was not due to the normal cut-through traffic. The car was involved in a hit and run and decided to leave the scene, fleeing into the neighborhood at a very high speed, blowing through stop signs and ultimately ending in a terrible accident.

Old pompano does get its fair share of cut-through traffic with vehicles not obeying traffic laws and this has been a top priority of mine since running for District 3 Commissioner.
I have had many meetings over the past 2 years (as did Mayor Rex Hardin when he was district 3 Commissioner). With these meetings studies are done and unfortunately the reports show that our traffic does NOT meet the requirements to make significant changes. With our roads being controlled by the Broward County Traffic Division we quickly come to a stand still.

I live here, I hear you and see the NEED for changes just like you. Help me help YOU by requesting a FREE #SlowTheSpeedDistrictThree and providing a signature on this petition. This will help show the city and county that something needs to be done to slow down cut through traffic.

I am YOUR voice and promise to continue to fight for safer streets throughout district 3.
