Julia Hartley’s behaviour was unprofessional and rude to her guest. Journalist should be unbiased and unjudgemental. Being on national TV does not give her the right to insult guests on the programme and mislead audience- democracy and occupation can’t be mixed, that’s hypocrisy

Was very offended as a woman that the interviewer tried to use women’s historic struggle and the patriarchy as a tactic to undermine this very patient guest speaker. The tone of the interviewer was impolite, condescending and I feel, racist. The racist and Islamophobic undertone of her comment that Mr Mustafa doesn’t regularly speak to women frankly offended me; I do not believe people with views like her should be given any platform or credibility in the uk to parrot such a blatantly racist and nonsensical narrative.
