I never thought that the right to bodily autonomy would have to be at the top of my daughter’s wish list for colleges, but I can promise that it is. Members of my own family have sustained heart damage secondary to this vaccine; I fail to understand why a cohort that's at an infinitesimally small risk with a high level of natural immunity is being targeted for forced boosters. As a RN, MSN with a background in research, the current data simply do not support your directives. Where there is risk, there must be choice.

I got myocarditis and permanent neurological injuries from Moderna shot two. The cardiovascular injuries required 3 months of treatment with an ARB (angiotensin II receptor blocker) & due to ongoing heart problems, I’ve been referred to a cardiologist. My neurologist said nothing could be done about the neuro injuries. I was totally healthy before this vaccine. The risk of injuries to students (everyone, actually) v the very small increase in additional “protection” for such a short duration of time (~12 weeks), makes booster shots an unacceptable risk for healthy young people. The current Covid-19 vaccines do not prevent infection or transmission of the virus, they do not “protect others.” It is medically and morally wrong to mandate boosters for anyone. This is a decision that should be between individuals and their doctors. First do no harm!
