Gillian Allen (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

Nicola Silver (Fareham, 2020-06-25)

#224

This is a brilliant local business that has helped many safely stay mobile, active, fit and healthy during lockdown.

Kate Reynolds (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#231

Someone shouldn’t be penalised for working from home/in a private space when that’s what we were told to to do!

Jazz S (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#233

Given that we are being asked to avoid public transport and to travel under our own steam as well as exercise, it seems mad that there is any doubt as to whether Warsash Cycles can continue in the safe way that it has been. I would strongly support their being able to continue working on behalf of their customers.

Amanda Chambers (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#235

Because this is ridiculous - at the moment small businesses such as this should be encouraged - using a bike where possible is the new normal for many people and these bikes need to be kept road worthy

Shelley Day (Whiteley, 2020-06-25)

#245

Supporting a decent local business.

Steve Sharpe (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#246

Simons business is helping to sustain the environment repairing and maintaining bikes so that people can cycle to work more and be healthier getting exercise in our beautiful countryside. It’s situated in a dead end lane so not adding much traffic and is also bringing more needed business to Warsash.

Sarah Burgess (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#247

This is a LOCAL business that try’s to support those with an active and outdoor lifestyle. There has been so much to be miserable about recently, let people get out on their bikes and be positive.

Jo Alvarado (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#250

Cycling is a great form of exercise but to be safe on the roads they need to be maintained. This is a vital service in our small village that must be maintained for the greater good.

Robert Westerberg (Warsash, Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#251

I support and encourage this local business and feel it provides a well needed service in our community. I would rather take my bike to a local knowledgeable business than something like the kids at Halfords!!

Louise White (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#261

A good local business, used a good few times and no problems or complaints. Always at a social distance and always abiding by relevant legislation.

Steve Restall (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#263

I celebrate an honest enterprising man doing business from his home for the community. (The one caveat is if there is any significant disturbance to neighbours)

David White (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#270

Simon provides an honest reputable bicycle repair service. I'd much rather support an independent local service opposed to a national corporation who don't provide a personal service. In this time of covid-19 crisis more than ever we should support out local independent trades people.

Dave Judson (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#272

I believe Simon provides a valuable community service and should be commended on running a business in these difficult times

Jan Mclean (Fareham , 2020-06-25)

#277

I want to support a local business that provides a vital service in a time when we all should be thinking about the environment and getting on our bike(s)

Nicola Mearns (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#279

This is a great local business , providing a great service for the community and especially during the lockdown whilst maintaining social distancing guidelines. Many people would have been challenged to cope without the use of their bicyles and we need to continue to support local businesses and not just cast to one side as we emerge ( hopefully)

Patrick Foley (Fareham, 2020-06-25)

#282

I thought you were supposed to be supporting people working from home , it’s seems ok if you sit at a computer , but not mend a bike ! Ridiculous! Some people do manual jobs , others office , still both working from home . Hypocrisy. He’s doing a service to the community

Kim Stabb (Fareham, 2020-06-25)

#283

It is a small local business providing an important service for local people. With the current emphasis on using cycles for transport instead of cars, this is exactly the sort of business we need to encourage.

Liz Davidson (Fareham, 2020-06-25)

#284

#290

We need local businesses

Belinda Taylor (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#291

A community project should not be under council scrutiny. Haven’t you got anything better to do?!

Louisa Wigginton (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#293

#300

Warsash Cycles should be encouraged and helped to succeed. The business will benefit the local community and is already setting an example of what can be achieved with passion and energy in these difficult times.

Julian Colls (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#301

Cycling is a healthier and more eco way of transport. Having a service such as this in the community plays a big part on the impact of our future and the amount of people cycling instead of taking their cars. Vital part of the community!

Hannah Tehver (Locks heath, 2020-06-25)

#302

#312

Sandra Houghton (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#313

Cycling is a way of traveling to work, shops etc., and is encouraged by not only health experts but by the government. If garages are open for maintaing vehicles so cycle maintenance workshops should be open for cycling.

Brian Wilkes (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#314

Staggered that someone has complained. I fully support an engineer that is giving the public a great service at a competitive rate. Why should he have to have commercial premises to continue?

Gary Foxley (Fareham, 2020-06-25)

#315

It has no impact on the properties around it, is helping the environment by encouraging people to cycle, in line with Government iniative for people to work from home and having used them I can vouch for a friendly, helpful, professional service at a reasonable cost. We should support local business!

Phil Redman (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#317

Warsash cycles provides a great service and as far as I can see his business is not affecting anyone

Glynis Dixon (Fareham , 2020-06-25)

#318

There is no difference between a cycle repair place and a car repair place. This is a silly reason for complaint!!

Michele Bradley (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#319

I think Warsash cycles are a valuable service for many local residents.

Theresa Pringle (Titchfield Portsmouth, 2020-06-25)

Terry Shand (Southampton , 2020-06-25)

#324

This is a reputable business trying to get through this period of uncertainty and people want to cycle rather than use public transport and they are benefitting from this company providing services to them and ensuring they have their own means os transport.

Jayne Dibden (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#325

#334

We need this type of service in warsash

Ron Edwards (Warsash , 2020-06-25)

#339

I think we should be encouraging more bikes on the road during a time where we need to be more mindful of our planet. Also because this is a community business that is bringing people together and allowing families to be out excersizing and enjoying the sun during the pandemic. We should be encouraging people who can to work from home And this is a coolant to be celebrated for that reason and more !

Rebecca Gouldbourne (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#341

Simon gave my bike a much neede service. He really did go the extra mile. I have so much more confidence riding it now and it’s all thanks to Simon and Warsash Cycles. Please don’t make him close I want to be able to go back again. Plus I have recommended him to others.

Tom Withey (Warsash , 2020-06-25)

I think this facility is paramount to keeping cars off the road, therefore making this area a better place to live. We need it with all the extra vehicles now in this area. The Council should embrace this opportunity

Amanda Gray (Warsash, 2020-06-25)

#366

Georgina Wilson (Whiteley, 2020-06-25)

#382

I'm signing this because the new warsash cycles offers a great friendly local service at competitive prices. They most helpful and go above and beyond. It would be a great shame to see this business not being allowed to continue to operate as having had family in warsash for over 90 years (strawberry growers) Warsah cycles gives back to the village and the wider community. I hope the local council will see this and support a local man with a vision for a better community feel business.

Paul Chessell (Whiteley, 2020-06-25)

Jo Risk (Woking, 2020-06-25)

#392

Halfords have been open right through the pandemic

James Barfoot (Waterlooville , 2020-06-25)

#394

This company is not doing anything wrong. They are doing everything right by helping people stay active!

Amanda Feeh (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#396

We need this business in Warsash. Instead perhaps focus on the disregard being shown around the Borough for COVID social distancing which is set to destroy what's left of the business economy!

Alex Rhodes (Southampton, 2020-06-25)

#398

This small services, that all the big firms, eg Halford can't achieve the same level of care and engagement. If it was selling flowers and eggs road side would you worry, it dead end road, they provide auch needed service as Handfords are not open, and the previouse services in abshot area closed years ago. Halford would love sell you a new bike every day but repair, so losing this would be a local Loss. Lockheath area has wealth of cycling paths, and no services to maintain the bike.we need this service, as does people araound the area, cars off the road, maintaing bikes is good every one.

Graham Froom (Soton, 2020-06-25)

#400

Warsash needs this for helping the community and teenagers
