Front loading of necessary reforms must happen in order to bypass the Kleptocrats who have control of Lebanon. I would add the need to restructure with best practices and front load necessary reforms to all supervisory bodies as most exhibit clear conflict of interests, including but not limited to the Central Bank (BDL)'s SIC and BCCL (where the governor of the BDL chairs both commissions and some others that have dubious affiliations and ties to the corrupt Kleptocrats!) .

I don't trust the government, and will only accept more debt if it is the final price to pay for 100% guaranteed reforms

I’m signing this petition because it’s one of the few & effective tools, We - The Lebanese diaspora - still currently possess to make an impact, drive a positive change & ensure a healthy reform based on strict monitoring & thorough audit by world trusted organizations, should the IMF decide to lend a hand of help to the Lebanese people in our home country, ruled by corrupted politicians & clergy.

The Lebanese cartel made me lose hope of Lebanon and hence my return to the US. Lebanon’s only hope is strong external involvement in all areas to stop the country from drowning and restore hope to its people.

History tells us that Lebanese governments and authorities ( with very few exceptions) cannot be trusted . So fulfilling the prerequisite conditions is essential for the survival of Lebanon 🇱🇧. Otherwise , in the centennial of Lebanon, the country always treated like a commercial product , never like a “ Nation «  , would have reached its «  Expiry Date «  ... So Sad 😞.
