I want to graduate in September as planned.Sara Mulkerrjn (Plymouth, 2019-05-20)

Qualifying in 2020, I'd like to graduate. It takes the sense of achievement away doing it in 2021 which has no relevance. I probably won't go if it's 2021.Emma Louise (Truro, 2019-05-20)

I will not be wanting to attend my graduation in February as I will be a qualified full time working nurse and the excitement of graduating will be goneBecca Everingham (Plymouth, 2019-05-20)

I’m a second year nursing student and would love to graduate not long after I finish all my exams I don’t want to be working for 6 months and go back to celebrate something which has long passed.Cyra Withers (Plymouth , 2019-05-20)
#428
All the hard work put in to graduating and they don't see the rewards due to it be delayed its appallingMichelle Patterson (Lancashire, 2019-05-20)

The graduation ceremony promised should take place as detailed and on time!Ellen Russell (Yeovil , 2019-05-20)

It’s disgusting that we have paid £28500 to attend university for our graduation to be so late. Many of us will be in jobs and unable to get the time off workKatie Bray (Truro, 2019-05-20)
#435
Because I don’t want to wait 6 months to celebrate all the hard work I have put into my degreeColleen Francis (Cornwall , 2019-05-20)

I don't want to wait until February to graduate. I think it is unfair that Plymouth uni didn't have the forethought to organise something within a more appropriate timescale. They keep telling us about the importance of being organised...Kimberley Halton (Penzance, 2019-05-20)

Graduation won’t be as much of a celebration once we have already been working for 6 months, we want to celebrate our achievements! Nursing students already compromise on so many things, let us graduate in September!Lydia Sandry (Cornwall , 2019-05-20)
#442
Its ridiculous that we are unable to have out graduation until 6 weeks after we qualify.Becca Opie (Truro, 2019-05-20)
#444
This is unfair due to all the hard work these students have put inCarly Wild (Redruth, 2019-05-20)
#446
As a fellow Nursing Student this is one of the main things we look forward to when we qualifyNicki Warne (Camborne , 2019-05-20)

Having the graduation on the Hoe is part of Plymouth Uni. Changing the date is harsh. Sept grads have always been a thingThomas Messenger (Torquay, 2019-05-20)
#451
Because I am a September cohort nursing student. This will also affect my graduation date! It’s such a disappointment and almost anti climax to be graduating 6 months after I would have been qualified.
This degree is so more than graduation, but my gosh it’s something to look forward to and a day to be proud of. A day to finish all of the hard work, tears and money that we have ploughed into this course!
Chantal Holbrook (Trueo, 2019-05-20)

I want to graduate on the right year despite the boatLauren James (Hayle, 2019-05-20)

Nursing students work so hard and Plymouth university make them jump through so many hoops. The least they can do is let the students graduate when they were told they would, when they signed up for the course.Molly-Anne Pender (Newquay, 2019-05-20)
#463
There are plenty of other options the university can take in order to allow students to graduate in a reasonable timeJulie Curran (Leeds, 2019-05-20)
#465
I think this is awful! One of the best things about studying at Plymouth is graduating on the Hoe! And to graduate 6 months later is unacceptable too.Karen Taplin (Cornwall, 2019-05-20)
#466
I believe these people work so hard to deliver a service to the public so hard. Surely if the home is not available, another venue could be found to recognise their achievements without the delay.Richard Hitchens (Redruth , 2019-05-20)

These girls deserve more after the work they have put in.Lisa Baldwin (Preston, 2019-05-20)
#472
Because those students deserve their graduation at the time it is suppose to be. They have worked long and hard to achieve their graduation and you should be honouring the correct date of September 2020.Kirsty Wallbank (Preston, 2019-05-20)
#479
My daughter will be a graduate.Mike Andrew (Truro, 2019-05-20)

I am a student on this course and I feel annoyed that we are not graduating and having the same opportunity as the years before us to graduate on the hoe.Stacey Mills (Truro, 2019-05-20)
#484
I don’t think students should wait that longLaurie Kingston (Yeovil, 2019-05-20)
#486
Graduation is the finish of their very well deserved qualification and needs to be celebrated on finishing not 6 months later. Please give them back their September date as it always has been.
Maggie Hitchens (Redruth, 2019-05-20)

I’m signing because I am a nursing student this change of graduation date will affect. I think already having had the bursary taken away and paying £9000 a year plus having placements up to two hours away from my home address struggling with child care a lot of the time. The one thing that gets you through is the idea of graduating with your peers, not 6 months after qualifying and started work!!Amy Willard (Plymouth , 2019-05-20)

I qualified as a nurse and graduated from Plymouth September 2017, I wouldn't of wanted to wait until February to celebrate so why should any of these students? It's an end to a chapter that can't come quick enough sometimesJo Moore (LISKEARD , 2019-05-20)
#492
I'm signing because we have worked hard, and it seems very unfair to make us wait to recognise our achievementTracey Knight (Truro, 2019-05-20)

My friends laughed, cried and slaved through a course she loves and she's good at and she and her peers deserve to have their graduation when they finish... Not 6 months after!Holly Elizabeth (Perranporth , 2019-05-20)
#509
students deserve the graduation that we signed up for. We are the first year of paying nurses and we haven't been consulted on our thought on a change in venue or date. We have worked so hard to become qualified nurses, we have sacrificed our family time, worked 37.5 hours per week before breaks and travel with no pay. We deserve to celebrate our hard work and sacrifices in a timely manner at the venue we believed we would rather than being let down by the university on our graduation ceremony.Jodie Lee (Helston, 2019-05-20)
#510
My daughter deserves to graduate in September 2020 and not February 2021. Why should all her hard work have to wait another five months to be awarded? Bring it forward a week or back a week but don't make the students or families wait until February 2021, it seems so unfair to all those involved.Amanda Raynes (St Austell , 2019-05-20)

As a person who has lost 2 grandads within 6 months of my second year, family means everything to me and I would appreciate if as many of my family and friends could come to my graduation as possible, which I know wouldn't be possible if it wasn't on the Hoe.Zoe Wilson (Paignton, 2019-05-20)

The thought of graduating with the rest of my cohort in September, is the only thing that gets me through the difficult times in this degree.Katy Parsons (Truro, 2019-05-20)
#529
Two of my friends will be graduating and I feel it is unfair to push their graduation back when they have worked so hard for their degreePaige Alder (Cornwall, 2019-05-20)

Our young nurses should get the recognition they deserve in a timely manner after all the extremely hard and mentally draining work they put in to becoming our future carersJodie Jerome (Truro, 2019-05-20)
#541
These students have endured 3 years of complete dedication to studying towards their nursing degree, majority sacrificing time with their families. They deserve the right to celebrate their achievement sooner that the 6 months post qualifying as it stands currently! Please change their graduation date and allow them to celebrate this amazing day with their friends and family as they rightly deserve!Patricia-Anne James (Helston, 2019-05-20)
#542
I'm signing because my friend has worked her arse off to complete this degree, and she deserves along with everyone else to graduate at the correct time, and in the location they have all dreamt of graduating. If you need to change the week to accommodate the Mayflower celebrations I am certain they'd all rather a week or 2 late than 6 months and then in a different venue anyway!Lorna Rome (Plymouth , 2019-05-20)

To show my support to all those who have studied hard to enjoy their graduation on the picturesque Hoe.Holly Thompson (Helston, 2019-05-20)

I don't agree that the students have to wait another 6 months to graduate, they have completed there studies and should have there graduation ceremony.Claire Haydney (Camborne , 2019-05-21)
#565
Graduation is a special moment that every student worked very hard for. I therefore think that every student deserves a Graduation at a “special” location ‘after’ they finish and not 6 months later.Nelleke Stins (Liskeard, 2019-05-21)

It should be September as Feb is too far away and you get excited!Amanda Kennedy (Preston, 2019-05-21)
#576
Because my sister has worked her a** off the last 3 years. It should never have gotten this far to be needed to be made into a petition, a graduation should never take place this far after qualifying. Give students what they deserve and have earned.Lauren Opie (Redruth, 2019-05-21)
#577
It’s rediculous to have the ceremony a year laterDavid Holbrook (Redruth , 2019-05-21)

You should not have to wait 6 months to receive your certificate and all immediate family members should be able to attend.Diana Peters (Cornwall, 2019-05-21)

Demonstrating the value of education is best shown by allowing those who strive hard and labour long to celebrate in a timely manner with their family and friends. After all...they got their assignments in at the agreed time didn't they? Please do the same for them. Thank you.Valerie Moffatt (Preston, 2019-05-21)

I believe that Plymouth University as massively messed up and in doing so as put their students both IB a financial predicament and have took the esccence of graduating from them.Kieron Halton (Penzance, 2019-05-21)

These young people have worked so hard for there qualification and deserve to be be recognised and presented in a timely manner for there achievements. Its the final stage of all there hard workSteven Woodward (Redruth, cornwall, 2019-05-21)

These people have work hard enough already. You are struggling for nurses already, yet you are already messing them about before they even start?!!Martin Bray (Redruth , 2019-05-21)

Absolute nightmare for students trying to make something of themselves. Three years of hard work and then being fobbed off by the University! You should be ashamed of yourselves, these students are paying you!Natalie Lighten (Fife, 2019-05-21)

I want to graduate at a normal time. Not many months after I have qualified and have a job. The novelty will have worn off by then!Sophie Kerr (Falmouth, 2019-05-21)
