(Wrexham, 2017-03-07)

I'm not happy with the amount of people who are using drugs in the town centre in a daily basis! It's giving us a bad name and also a bad reputation! If they get these people off the streets then it will be more of a place where people feel welcome and also somewhere that locals can be proud of!

(Wrexham , 2017-03-07)

(Wrexham, 2017-03-07)

#501

The state of Wrexham is diabolical and police and council need to step up to the problem

(Wrexham , 2017-03-07)

#506

I feel like Wrexham is no longer a safe town to walk around in, especially on your own. They're constantly hanging around and it's not a nice thing for younger generations to see. You never know what they have on them and they constantly approach you begging for change and what not to fill their drug problem. I work in the co-op and see their behaviour pretty much every single day, stealing foil, alcohol and whatever they can get their hands on. Something has definitely got to be done about it as it'd be a big step on making the town somewhat better.

(Wrexham, 2017-03-07)

13yrs ago I was homeless. I spent all term time in wrexham as I was attending college and spent the holidays traveling the north wales coast. I slept rough and sold the big issue. There was such little help available back then I could only see the situation worsening in our area. Some of my best friends from back then are no longer with us due to this lack of help. Addiction is crippling and limits people's choices, so it's difficult to make the right ones.

I've always felt the only chance of solving the problem would require the government or a charity to put in place a "rehab after care" program. Give people the opportunity to take a job and a flat instantly upon leaving rehab. They work renovating buildings, those buildings then house other recovering drug addicts as they work and provide more housing. So on and so forth and eventually any start up costs could be off set by selling a few properties then it's left self sustaining as a non profit organisation.

That's just my view but one things for sure this needs opening up for discussion. So I sign this petition in the hope Cain Wynne can get through to the right people and get the issue into the people's hands not the councillors.

(Wrexham , 2017-03-07)

Wrexham is getting worse get this drug and the others off our streets... i dont want my kids seeing these people

(Wrexham, 2017-03-08)

#554

Im signing this for my children and all the children of wrexham who have to walk past this in the town center. What does a parent say to a child when they ask you what is wrong with that man mummy. Use the money for the petty litter dropping fines to get these people some help/rehab ... Crack down on the dealers and make legal highs illegal.

(Wrexham, 2017-03-08)

#561

Drug problems in north wales is getting out of hand and it ruins lives and split families

(Bala, 2017-03-08)

#562

It's Disgusting people / kids shouldn't have to see this when shopping in the area , it's out of order expressly When their leaving their needles around everywhere kids could easily pick it up , their should be arrested if seen in this condition .

(Wrexham , 2017-03-08)

#563

These drug users are not only parading around in front of our children, they are stealing, draining the benefits system and just generally making the town an awful place to be! The tax payers money should be used to get them off the streets, rehabilitated and into jobs to make them contribute with legal penalties enforced for relapse or not working.

(Wrexham, 2017-03-08)

#574

We seriously need to think about how we look after drug users and alcoholics - wrexham are neglectful when it comes to proving adequate services and support

(Wrexham, 2017-03-12)

#575

The problem is getting out of hand and the council appear to be doing very little.
