Katheryn is a highly skilled professional who excels at her job - in the developmental tests that children have she demonstrates great knowledge, and an excellent manner with the children to get as accurate as possible reading of your child's development in a clinical setting. Her wider research knowledge, and close working relationship within the team means that Katheryn can deliver a holistic approach to supporting parents and families through times when they need support - Katheryn is excellent at ensuring things are followed up and put in place - her role alongside healthcare workers is needed if the team are going to continue to offer an all round service that supports family correctly

She helped me and my baby. She's a friendly face & a much needed member of the team. If you loose her expect to pay the price of new mums struggling even more which will cost the system in the long run. Save kath or it will cost you more than her salary

Kathryn is one of the best health visitor in Cumbria and helps a lot of Mam's . So there is no reason I can see that sush a good woman that had put mam welfear first for meney years it's just a disappointment that they would even consider letting her go

Kathryn was a great help to our family. At a time where we didn't know what was happening with our son's health and development she was a constant support throughout this difficult time. Kathryn gave us so much valuable information and support which helped us to make a lot of decisions which has benefited our sons education and development. Kathryn is such a kind, calm and understanding person and we have had the privilege knowing her. This service is so valuable and without it and people like Kathryn it will be a great loss.

She shouldn't loose her jobs she's brilliant & well thought of. A very special person & loved by all her parents & children. She's been a great help to my son daughter in law & their two girls. A real shame surely there's no need for her to leave she's an asset to the local community.

she visited me when I had my children & she was brilliant, new her stuff and it will be a big mistake for her to loose her job to save money. Save money by getting rid of some managers there are too many & they're way over paid.

Kathryn is an extremely talented team member & cares very well for the children she sees! She was brilliant when my daughter was younger & I believe she is an essential part of the team!

Kathryn does a fantastic job and would be an a huge loss to both the community and the health visitors team at Penrith. It is an outrage that she faces redundancy. Why is it always the services that we need the most, are the ones that are cut the hardest!

I have felt it necessary to sign this petition because I think that Dispensing with the roles of Nursery Nurses is a mistake, the consequences of which will be borne by Cumbrian families.

I have worked with Kathryn as a student Health Visitor, a Health Visitor and a community Midwife. I know her as a work colleague and friend. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable in her role as a nursery nurse. She provides an excellent service to parents with young children offering support and advice with parenting issues, behavioural problems, the importance of play for children and supporting parents with children who have challenging behaviour, learning difficulties, physical and emotional problems. As well as undertaking many of the child development assessments in clinic.

Kathryn is a vital member of the Health Visiting team and her loss would inevitably lead to a negative impact on the service received by the families who would otherwise benefit from her knowledge, empathy and wonderful work ethic. Kathryn and her role are invaluable to the health visiting team and the families it serves.

Unfortunately there have been too many cuts already within the NHS. The Nursery nurses losing their Jobs is another step too far and it is the families of Cumbria who will suffer without her expertise, compassion and support.

At a time when health care is at a premium and good health care professionals are few and far between, it's awful that this is what is happening. The NHS should be ashamed. Another nail in the coffin of a once great service.

The health visitor services are essential in our community. Kathryn and all the other health visitors do an amazing job. Mums and babies need them for health, sanity and info. Our communities are starting to break down, this is another cut back which is unnecessary. The NHS needs look at the money they needlessly waste in administration, unnecessary taxi fares, agency fees and management costs rather than cutting front line staff who are desperately needed in their communities.
