Kathryn is a lovely person inside and out and I can't thank her enough for the endless support with my 3 children. She helped me get the right help I needed for my son and was there for me the whole step of the way!! 2 year checks are massively important especially to a lot of parents, they should not cut this department!!

(Penrith, 2017-02-07)

#34

Signing because I know Mrs Fowles and the work she does and the passion she has for it. In my opinion the school will be all the less without her there doing what she does.

(Penrith, 2017-02-07)

#38

Kathryn is my daughter and I know how hard she has worked in her role for the last 12 years. The job title of nursery nurse in no way describes her input, she provides a vital link between families with young children and the rest of the health visiting team. She is very well thought of by both the families she visits and her colleagues, and is devastated to find herself in this position.

(Penrith , 2017-02-07)

#41

It's easy to sit behind a desk away from the decisions and not see the impact on not only the lives of those doing the job but the people they help everyday just by being there.

(Carlisle, 2017-02-07)

#45

There is not enough support for families as it is , Kathryn is a great and valuable asset to health visitors.

Too many important people who really care about the people in their care are getting pushed out, it's people like Kathryn who really care about the children and parents she's deals with in a friendly approachable professional manner

(Penrith , 2017-02-07)

#77

We need her!

(Penrith, 2017-02-07)

#78

Important and crucial part of an amazing team. The health visitors have had their budgets slashed on many levels in the past - this is perhaps a step too far and most certainly heading in the wrong direction. Front line staff are of such great importance too all parents (new & experiened) I have never personally had any dealings with Kathryn first hand but from others experiences her comfort/knowledge/help is without doubt invaluable.

(penrith, 2017-02-07)

#82

Kathryn has supported and advised me with both my children, I think she does an amazing job and she would be a massive loss to the team. I truly hope the government get a clue and realize how much good work she has done over the years

(penrith, 2017-02-07)

#84

This is a very valued function by all families that have had the opportunity to use it. Especially important for those first time parents and those who don't have straightforward circumstances. Where else do we get support from? Typical of politicians taking away and pushing frightened/worried parents to A&E or Doctors that are already inundated, when all they need is a reassuring chat and some advice. Kathryn has been supportive to my family and I thank you for that. I hope someone see's sense before it's too late!

(Penrith, 2017-02-07)
