I fail to understand why foreigners are able to land on British shores and be assured of entry to this country, more often than not without travel documents or proof of identification, with confidence that they are unlikely to be sent to the first country they arrived in after leaving their homeland.I also fail to understand why the Government and its agents are incapable of making efforts to halt this traffic or to explain to the British public why they are so helpless.
If I had more time and a valid passport I would be sorely tempted to cross the Channel and attempt entry to France in a similar manner - just for fun, you understand.
