Guest#54 May 28, 2014, 14:59
The fact an elderly disabled man is put in prison for feeding the birds while druggies rapists and paedophiles are roaming our streets is absolutely disgusting! Priorities are totally wrong! I know of a local grass who gets away with EVERYTHING yet this poor man is alone and defenceless! The justice system is vile!
Guest#55 May 28, 2014, 15:00
Of all the paedophiles and crackheads in Morecambe and the council put a harmless man with a harmless hobby in prison. Utterly disgusting.

Its not against the law to feed pigeons, its against the law to breach an asbo.

Did you know Mr Wilkinson was still actually allowed to feed pigeons under the conditions of his asbo?

Guest#57 May 28, 2014, 15:27
The inprisonment of this elderly man is absolutely disgusting. Those birds are probably the only company he has and what harm is he doing? How can you put this kind soul in prison and yet you allow killers and rapists to walk our streets putting others at risk. Disgusting and the judge should be ashamed of himself

Guest#64 May 28, 2014, 17:17
How ridiculous to jail someone for feeding birds. It makes a mockery of the justice system.
Guest#65 May 28, 2014, 17:38
He should not have been given an abso for something of this nature in the first place, his behaviour is not threatening the birds behaviour is not threatening. It's just poo, it doesn't permanently damage the cars it cleans up.
Guest#66 May 28, 2014, 18:32
This man needs help not jail I've seen first hand the abuse he takes of the people that live near him he has no Windows in his home because everyone smashed them and the council are fed up of replacing them free him and offerhim the help he needs
Guest#67 May 28, 2014, 18:46
Usual Council bully boys.If you don't fit in with their version of normal you are pers ecuted. Leave the man to live his life how he sees fit. We used to call it freedom of choice. It used to be what made Britain Great.
Guest#68 May 28, 2014, 18:53
I think this is totally out of order , arrested for feeding pigeons? and thieves and drug addicts roam free x
Guest#69 May 28, 2014, 18:53

Guest#71 May 28, 2014, 19:07
For goodness sake, can we not show this gent the compassion and humanity he gives to creatures? Surely this man could help in community service not prison.
Guest#72 May 28, 2014, 19:07
This proves beyond a doubt 'the law is an ass'~ robbers muggers terror inciters etc get a more lenient sentence than a poor old guy feeding the birds ~ SHAME ON BRITAIN
Guest#73 May 28, 2014, 19:16
Maybe we should imprison some mothers for feeding their kids that are bigger nuisance than some pigeons!!
Guest#74 May 28, 2014, 19:24
Feeding creatures that are naturally are supposed to be there? Just what the HELL.
Guest#75 May 28, 2014, 19:47
