The fact an elderly disabled man is put in prison for feeding the birds while druggies rapists and paedophiles are roaming our streets is absolutely disgusting! Priorities are totally wrong! I know of a local grass who gets away with EVERYTHING yet this poor man is alone and defenceless! The justice system is vile!

Of all the paedophiles and crackheads in Morecambe and the council put a harmless man with a harmless hobby in prison. Utterly disgusting.

The inprisonment of this elderly man is absolutely disgusting. Those birds are probably the only company he has and what harm is he doing? How ridiculous to jail someone for feeding birds. It makes a mockery of the justice system.

He should not have been given an abso for something of this nature in the first place, his behaviour is not threatening the birds behaviour is not threatening. It's just poo, it doesn't permanently damage the cars it cleans up.

This man needs help not jail I've seen first hand the abuse he takes of the people that live near him he has no Windows in his home because everyone smashed them and the council are fed up of replacing them free him and offerhim the help he needs

For goodness sake, can we not show this gent the compassion and humanity he gives to creatures? Surely this man could help in community service not prison.

This proves beyond a doubt 'the law is an ass'~ robbers muggers terror inciters etc get a more lenient sentence than a poor old guy feeding the birds ~ SHAME ON BRITAIN

Maybe we should imprison some mothers for feeding their kids that are bigger nuisance than some pigeons!!
