Have a holiday home and my family and I love going down the square for dinner, drinks and entertainment.

Because I am tired of the amateurs in the Town Hall and Tourist Office who don't realise that Los Alcazares is tourist destination and the amount of revenue it creates. Their action are far more punitive than anything Franco ever introduced.

Live music is the life blood of s tourist resort

Music and entertainment is essential in a holiday area. It is part of human culture.

What with the no music ban and the state of the mar Menor , we won't be getting many tourist in the future x
Guest#6 Jul 12, 2016, 06:51
You will lose tourism, if you stop music in the summer season

I signed because I am fed up with the situation in Los Alcazares where a few select bars can have live music but the majority cannot. If I didn't have property there I would never go back.

Re:
Totally agree. What has happened to the Mar Menor or as it is now known, the Murky Menor

Tourists and ex-pats contribute an enormous amount of money to the local economy. They enjoy live music as part of their social scene. Without this form of entertainment, I believe, Los Alcazares would not survive as a tourist destination.

Without live music Los Alcazares is very much less alive!

La musica es muy importante para la cultuuragenda en Los Alcazares, y para toerisme.

They are all a bunch of killjoys that hate people enjoying life. How can you bother if a bar does music from 7 to 10 in the evening. I would understand if it was after midnight....but not in the freaking evening......let's declare war to killjoys
Guest#15 Jul 14, 2016, 12:54
Because I spend at least 5 mnths every year in Los Alcazare and I love live music
Guest#16 Jul 14, 2016, 12:57
This crack down on live music in some venues and not others sounds like corruption in high places. This must be opposed and those responsible exposed.
Guest#17 Jul 14, 2016, 16:12
Because I live in spain and it is a part of their culture to dance and listen to music.I also enjoy it alot.I would hate to see certain towns dissappear because of the loss of tourist.
Guest#18 Jul 14, 2016, 16:33
If you take live music or TV sound from Los Alcazares, you are going to take money from the local economy, as in Tourist money, no Tourist is going to want to holiday in any area where music isn't permitted, or is it a case of one rule for one and a different rule for others?????!.

Keep music alive on the costas
Guest#20 Jul 15, 2016, 05:50
I have an apartment in the area and the bar I go to is forbidden to play live music yet 100 mts up the strip it is allowed.
Guest#21 Jul 15, 2016, 07:23
Without live music, eventually there will be no music.
Guest#22 Jul 21, 2016, 13:04
Because I go to bar that have live music all year round
Guest#23 Jul 21, 2016, 13:43
Los Alcazares needs tourism, tourists want to be entertained, simple.
Guest#24 Jul 21, 2016, 18:26
We have been long letting for 5 months for past 7 years as we are retired and we love the singers and duos. So dissapointed this year. It feels so not right. This is a holiday resort.
Guest#25 Jul 21, 2016, 18:33
Because we miss the singers and duos in The Celt, The Lion and other venues.
