I signed this petition because Jim Burton is an asset to the community, his profession, and local TV broadcasting. I believe he deserves my support, as I do not have evidence to demonstrate otherwise. He has participated strongly in charity fundraising events during his tenure and has demonstrated a consistent positive presence throughout the region during many different events over the years. It appears to the public that the station has terminated Jim without reason.

I think it was a horrible decision to let Jim go he made the weather fun to watch always kept it interesting and his personality was Fantastic . PLUS he did alot with so many communities and put them on map . SHAME ON YOU WJAC_TV I will be leaving this station and there will be many to follow Why end a GREAT THING !!!!

The only reason I watched the weather ever was because of Jim Burton!! He is easy on the eyes unlike any other weatherman, and he is intelligent, speaks well!!! Always on the money with the weather!! He sponsors and covers charity's with Children!! Breath of fresh air every morning with my coffee!! Now I won't watch wjac weather, the rest of the weathermen and women are boring and stale!

Mr Burton made numerous personal appearances in our area. He was nice and kind at these events. He gave us the weather with a smile.

Jim Burton is my main reason for watching your weather. His personality is so positive. I watch him on the news and listen to his local forecast for the Dubois area on Q102. I feel you have made a mistake in letting him go.

Somewhat shocked to hear that Jim Burton was let go. He came for a homeschool day at the camp where I live. He did a wonderful job. He was delighted to share his knowledge and truly engaged the children and the parents.

Love Jim. Just can't imagine my mornings without him! He's a great meteorologist. WJAC should have never left him go. Everybody misses him. That's obvious and they should really listen to the viewers!
