Jim Burton had a long history of premium service to the station where he was employed and involvement in numerous community events in the south central Pennsylvania area. He was very well liked and highly respected for his abilities. He is one of the best weather reporters I have ever seen over the years.

Jim Burton MADE the weather portion of the news. I felt as if he was part of my family. The station WJAC has an obligation to let its viewers know why he is no longer there.

Jim is not only a great weatherman but is involved in many wonderful charities. Jim was the speaker at our latest Walk to End ALZ last September in DuBois and I had the honor to speak at the event with him. He is also a great supporter of Specisl Olympics. I will be watching another channel if he is not brought back.

StClair Broadcasting are idiots. Why would anyone get rid of a great meteorologist and just great all around person that has been a staple in this community! He has done so many public service appearances and so much work for charity for the community.
I remember Jim when he was on radio a long time ago and has been a part of the community! They need to bring Big Jim Back!
Seams awful funny that no reason why he was left go, from the station management. They need to fess up and give the real reason why! The people that pay the stations bills ( advertisers ) need to pull their advertising dollar until they bring him back or give a solid reason why he was left go. Like they say Money Talks!
I will be watching WTAJ tv from now on until their is some action on this matter! Let us all help Big Jim Burton!

Because if Jim made a mistake he should be forgiven. Should have been given a warning not fired. God forgave us. He is a great weatherman and all around great guy.

I do believe that Mr. Burton was treated unfairly. WJAC has done this one to many times to their employees who are not only news casters, meteorologists...etc.....but many of us consider friends even though we have never meet. I get up in the mornings and turn on the news just for the banter that makes me smile every morning....I haven't been smiling since they left Mr. Burton go. Very a loyal WJAC news listener please bring him back!
