Good Morning Parental Rights Signers!

Tonight, the school board meeting starts at 6:30, Please be there no later than 6:00pm 

16000 E PALISADES BLVD

Fountain Hills, AZ 

We ask that you be respectful and courteous. If you would like to speak, there will be a sign up sheet in the lobby, for public comments. As they refused to put us on the Agenda.

However, we need more than ever support, so please just show up to support us and say a prayer for us that we can make a difference.

School Board Meeting Tuesday, May 11, @ 6:30

I first want to Thank everyone for sharing this petition. I don't know if you're aware but there is another petition out there by our opposition. It of course is a  petition saying "KEEP OUR SCHOOLS SAFE."

I really want to encourage everyone that has signed this to show up at the school board meeting. We can show them our Petition but we need "bodies" in the building supporting our Parental Rights movement.

At this point the board will not put us on their agenda but there is a spot for public comments. So I also would encourage anyone that wants to speak, please do so and let the board know the consequences of NOT unmasking our kids.

Highschool and Middle School kids are planning on meeting at the building around 6:00 with signs showing their support for us, that way the board and superintendant will see them before they walk in. If you would like to join them, that would be great also.

It also will be a day of reckoning for each parent that has a child in the school district to decide what will happen on May 12, if masks are not lifted. I personally, will keep my boys home for the rest of the year and shop other forms of education, not support the Bond Override, and if I decide to send them back next school year, I will not be sending them to school on "Day 100" which dicatates how much funding the school gets. 

As much as I love this district and want to continue to see it flourish, I will NOT let my kids be subject to an administration that doesn't see the value in Parental Rights.

The school board meeting is in the small parking lot just west of the bus drop off at the highschool. Corner of Palisades and Golden Eagle.

Thank you for signing the Declaration of Parental Rights.  A small team of volunteer parents and grandparents are working hard to peacefully provide some freedom to the students in the Fountain Hills School District.

We are sending you this email to ask you for your help in the following ways...

  • Please cut & paste the email template below into your own email and send it to the FHUSD Board Members and Superintendent Glass.  (Their email addresses are below.)  You can edit the email however you like, but to make it an “official” communication, you’ll need to include the first 3 paragraphs about reading the email and Declaration into the Board meeting minutes.  Please do this NO LATER than Monday, May 10.

  • Here is a link to an anonymous survey about masks in the FHUSD: https://forms.gle/XxqoBVSEjkc8VW6T7.  Please complete it and submit it.  It should only take a minute.  We plan to present the survey results to the FHUSD Board.

  • Please attend the FHUSD Board meeting on TUES., May 11, at 6:30 pm.  It will be held at the FHUSD Learning Center at 16000 E. Palisades Blvd., Fountain Hills.  You don’t have to speak, but the more people we have, the better!

This is tough work, and the volunteer team of parents & grandparents truly appreciates your help!  Our work has just begun.  But by doing these 3 things, you will be a force for good for our Fountain Hills students.

SUBJECT: FHUSD Declaration, Etc.

To the members of the FHUSD Board and Superintendent Glass:

I ask that you read this email out loud, in its entirety, and make it part of the public comments and meeting minutes, at the next FHUSD Board Meeting, currently scheduled for 6:30pm, May 11, 2021.

I hereby affirm the Declaration of Parental Rights that is documented at this link: https://www.petitions.net/declaration_of_parental_rights-fountain_hills_april_2021.

If the entire above-mentioned Declaration has not yet been read aloud at the Board Meeting, then I ask that you read the entire Declaration aloud and make it part of the public comments also.  If the Declaration has already been read aloud at the Board Meeting, then this comment will incorporate the entire Declaration by reference into the public comments.

Your mask policies (including face shields, biometric scans, & social distancing) are arbitrary and inconsistent.

As a parent, I demand that you immediately and permanently remove any and all such mask requirements for any and all schools, facilities, transportation, and activities of the District, including without limitation, the FHUSD’s version of the JICA-RB advisory policy emanating by the Arizona School Boards Association, and other similar policies.

I am giving serious consideration to immediately withdrawing my child(ren) from the FHUSD and transferring them to neighboring districts, such as Mesa, that no longer require masks.

If the Board fails to fully, completely, and permanently remove any and all such mask policies by 11:59 pm, May 11, 2021, then, at a minimum, I will do the following:

I will vote against the upcoming FHUSD Bond Override and peacefully but actively campaign against it;

I will no longer make a charitable tax credit donation to the FHUSD;

I will no longer make discretionary gifts and donations to the FHUSD; and

My child(ren) will not be in school in the FHUSD on “Day 100” of the upcoming school year or other similar days for counting students for funding purposes.

It is an email template for you to use to copy and paste and send to the Superintendant and FHUSD board members. This part is crucial, it lets the Superintedant and Board Members know we are standing firm in our requests to unmask our children. I realize some of you that signed will not be able to go to the board meeting. By sending this email, you are still showing you have a voice.

Good Morning,

I just wanted to Thank everyone for signing! Please continue to share this link. We need about 35 more signatures to hit 200.

We figure there are roughly 550-600 families in the district. So it would be great to get our signatures up to 250 or higher.Grandparents, spouses,or neighbors can also sign, as concerned citizens. 

I appreciate you all going out of your comfort zone to make this happen. Signers can be anonymous.

Strategy

I just wanted to let all of you know, that we had a meeting yesterday. We are working on our strategy and presentation for the school board meeting May 11. We will update more in the next couple of days.

We would still like to get more signatures before then, so if you could please keep sharing. Also let people know that they can choose to be anonymous when signing. 

We need to see smiles on faces again, before the school year ends.
