Support LDS seminary and stand against religious hatred and harassment

Despite the negativity expressed by a small portion of our Vail community, I stand firmly in support of our superintendent and school board. They have approached this situation with fairness, integrity, and a sincere commitment to doing what’s best at every step.

I also fully support the LDS seminary program. Many of our teens are genuinely excited to participate, and it’s clear that a large portion of our community stands behind it as well.

Unfortunately, misinformation has circulated, leading to hateful and discriminatory comments directed toward LDS students at Cienega. This is unacceptable. I want to be absolutely clear: I denounce any form of hatred, harassment, or discrimination—against the LDS faith or any faith.
