I live within a mile of this proposed development and I do not want more noisy, low flying planes over my home. The air strip does not safely fit on that property and the entire development clashes with our rural residential neighborhoods.Brenda Hallberg (Cleveland, 2025-04-28)

The proposed project is alarmingly dense and disregards basic planning and community standards. With my home just 2,500 feet from the runway, I am deeply concerned that this development will drastically disrupt and diminish our quality of life. It seems like the "wild west" of aviation.Laura Rachelle Worrall (Belton, 2025-04-28)

I live immediately down wind from the proposed airpark and do not want the strong smell or adverse effects of aircraft fuel when I'm spending time outdoors.I'm also concerned about the increase in population in the immediate area. I believe a development of that size will lure consumer businesses, gas stations, and restaurants to a quiet area that has none of these things and forever change the area that I purchased property in precisely because it had none of these things.

My dad lives directly across the for more than 35 years. He chose to have his forever home in the country for the peace and quiet for his golden years. Now, they want to destroy his dreams and the person wanting to do all of this, has ZERO plans to move in the so called neighborhood. Hes destroying country living to make money. So sadTara Shipley (Harrisonville, 2025-04-28)

Adding the air traffic will change the quite rural area. The increase in noise and overhead planes is not a reasonable or beneficial change for rural home and land owners. We avoided the Area towards Gardner and airport for a reason when I moved to land and this changes that drastically.cOrriah Graves (Belton, 2025-04-28)

I have lived across from the proposed Airpark for 45 years. The proposed Airpark will disrupt the tranquility of the rural environment I have called home for so many years.Marlin Shipley (Belton, 2025-04-28)

I'm signing because I think it is a bad idea for the county and a private airpark does nothing for the community.Greg Porembski (belton, 2025-04-28)

I move to Belton as it is peaceful and quiet. An air strip/ pilot community would disrupt the peace AND raise prices in the local economy.Ariel Dechant (Belton, 2025-04-28)

As stated above. I do not think this is the proper location nor do I wish to have the increased traffic and pollution. Thank you.Art Palko (Cleveland, 2025-04-28)

I'm signing because this Arrowhead Airpark DOES NOT FIT the property nor the neighborhood. There is NO BENEFIT to those of us who have made our home here. I have been a voting Cass County resident since 1984. We are the Commissioners' constituents.Pamela Ray (Belton, 2025-04-28)

A former neighbor lives near where this proposed airpark would be built and would be negatively afftected by it.Valerie Croninger (raymore, 2025-04-28)

There is no need for an air port there. No one really will read this because money talked and whoever has the most money will win unfortunately in the messed up world we live in. I get it they want to develop the land and have a private airport with nice homes around but Is that really necessaryTriston Hartwig (Belton, 2025-04-28)

This is being pushed with total disregard to the neighbors, and farmers in the area with there livestock.Tom Hansen (Lake Annette, 2025-04-28)

This highly intrusive development is not compatible with the area it will hugely impact. Current residents' rights to enjoy a life free of the highly intrusive activities this development should be the TOP consideration.A development that includes the activities of aircraft should never be considered in any area such as this. It is inconceivable that consideration would be given to this project that is not subject to FAA safety standards and that will release toxic emissions as well as noise levels that will pose significant health hazards to not only the people and wildlife in the immediate area but will surely affect a much larger area as well.

There is little to no benefit to the community by allowing a private runway in a residential area, but there are significant risks and liability to the county/residents. The county would not be able to effectively enforce or regulate this complex. Any speculated increase in tax revenue would be more than negated by extra costs needed to support additional infrastructure, like the primarily volunteer fire department (Western Cass) that borders 2 sides of this complex. During a zoning meeting, the developer admitted there was more interest in estate lots over hangers. While I'm not thrilled at the impact of a large development in the area, I'd prefer estate lots with families over a runway and everything that accompanies it. There is no need for a private runway and small airplanes in this area.Greg Hilgenkamp (Belton, 2025-04-29)

Property owner is acting radically against current zoning in a way that adversely affects neighbors, zoning that is in place to the property owners that have resided on their properties longer than applicants tenure on his property. He does not know the neighborhood and what is good for the neighborhood, but is imposing his desires on an existing community of families.Jeff Evilsizor (Belton, 2025-05-01)

We moved to the country for peace, not acres of private airplanes flying over.Ashley Wellensiek (Cleveland, 2025-05-01)

I believe the airpark is a potential safety hazard in terms of the runway placement and crosswind variable. It is close to a wild fowl habitat as well. I am not opposed to air parks if well placed - far enough away from suburban homes and farms. This one is not. The planes will descend too closely to homes causing unfair impact and potential danger. Another location must be found for this development.Tracy Evilsizor (Belton, 2025-05-01)

I moved here to raise my animals/garden in a clean rural environment. I do not want to expose my property to unnecessary noise, air, and water run off pollution that will result from this airfield and it's patrons. I don't care to think about the potential damage to my property and potential personal injury due to potential air plane crashes related to take off landing and the plethora of things that can go wrong with aircraft.Angela Rogers-Gaebel (Belton (Mt. Pleasant Township), 2025-05-02)

Signing petitions is something I do not regularly partake in. However, petitioning against the development and implementation of the Arrowhead Airpark, LLC in Cass County, Missouri is something I will put my name and vote behind. My family lives around three miles southeast from where this would be located. My parents moved out of town to enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with living outside of city limits. It seems to be that most people signing this petition who live near the proposed area chose where they live for the same/similar reasons. There seems to be no apparent benefit to the local community for having this airpark be built. If anything, it seems that it will only cause disruption for the way of life for those living in south Belton or surrounding areas. This is a “private” airpark after all, so the surrounding residents stand to reap little to no gain from it. Aside from residential spaces nearby, there is a locally owned Buffalo company, KC Buffalo Co., directly across the street from where this is being proposed. The Buffalo have grazed in the adjacent pasture(s) for years. If you check out their website, they pride themselves in raising their meat naturally and without the use of antibiotics and hormones. Building this airpark directly next to this family owned and operated business serves to only hinder their operation if the noise and pollution aspect proves to be true. Another point made on the petition was that the proposed airport layout and operations currently violates FAA safety standards. If this is the case, they have no business building this. Especially not near where people live and commute.I already notice larger aircraft descending seemingly low in the sky as they prepare to likely land at KCI Airport while I’m outside at home. The last thing I want is a large increase in the aircraft that would be flying around and taking off/touching down right down the road from where I live. I pray the grievances of the Cass County residents would be heard and taken into consideration. Thank you.

I live in Belton and I’ve lived in Belton all my 20 years of life and I live out near 203rd near the Buffalo and I do not care for an airport being in a smaller town when there is a huge airport in KC that isn’t too far away. I care about land and the animals and the people around and there’s already enough construction with warehouse buildings and more condos going up that is uanessacry. I believe God created us to expand in numbers but not to build an extra unneeded airport, especially when it’s not going to be open to public use.Nora Dunlap (Belton, 2025-05-09)

We bought homes, and invested a lot of time and money in our homes, to be in an area away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city and town. This will harm our peaceful and quiet area and will therefore hurt our property values also.Scott Maysent (Belton, 2025-05-12)

This is not how we should develop this area. Does anyone know the reduction in property values in this area.If you watch national news small airplanes make the news. How many crash that don’t make news. They are dangerous!!
