Save First Point

PETITION TO SAVE FIRST POINT:

Noosa: One of the world’s finest point surfs is currently buried under hundreds of thousands of cubic meters of sand. We need Noosa to pause future sand-pumping to allow the Little Cove and First Point to recover naturally.

Noosa: Arguably one of the best point-surfs in the world and A World Surfing Reserve is in danger of losing the very reason she was bestowed this honour: The unique point surf on her points due to an excess of sand accumulation on First Point Noosa and Little Cove from an unusually large sand deposition due to the last two years flooding.

THE PETITION:

We ( Save First Point ) Action Group call on the Noosa Council to STOP all future sand pumping onto the area known as First Point Noosa Heads.

We call on the Noosa Council to reconsider the all actions concerning any and all Sand replenishment onto the area known as First point.

We ask the Noosa Council to apply its self with all interested Groups / Parties concerned with the preservation of First Point to find a better solution to the present situation at First Point.
