Protection Of Pets

PoP is an organisation dedicated to two things:

1. The spading and neutering of dogs and cats

2. Allowing breeding of dogs and cats to a select few

By doing this we can cut down on the rising number of homeless cats and dogs across the UK. Rescue homes are stuggiling to cope with the rising numbers of animals brought into the shelters every day. Funding them can help give food and expand shelter but does not cut the problem at its source. By allowing only a select number of proffessional breeders to breed it will prevent puppy mills and cut down the number of strays. All in all stopping unecessary euthinasia and animal creutly.

In order for this to work, the petition states that there should be a law. A law that only a select few can breed dogs and cats. These breeders will have to have the knowledge and the right facilities to cope with the litters needs. Every puppy or kitten then has to be neutered or spaded before sold. This will stop the rising number of strays and the ban on puppy mills. Minimising animal cruelty.
