Petition on Menlo Park Garden Refuse Centre
We, the undersigned residents of Ward 82 in the City of Tswane Metropolitan Municipality, call on the municipality to take action in repairing the walls of the Menlo Park Garden Refuse Centre along Hazelwood Road and to install drainage holes along the walls in order to ensure adequate drainage in the event of rain and prevent future damage. In addition, we demand that refuse be regularly removed in order to prevent a build-up of unpleasant smells, flies and vermin. The City should also address financial constraints that restrict the centre from operating at full capacity.
